Oh hey, some golf talk in GYERO today!

(Reads on to see UKO and PTI going back and forth over whether Ben Curtis is "good")

Texas shutting bars and restaurants back down doesn't bode well for football in 2 months.

Thanks a lot A&M.

Bars always felt as they should be the very last to open. Especially if they have live music. As big of a "open it up" honk as I've been, I wouldn't feel comfortable going to one.

Close contact for extended period of time, basically having to yell your order and to speak to one another. Spittle filling the air!

One good thing about corona virus: We haven't had to read rogue bitching about serving customers in his service industry job.

Thanks manual labor!

Hot take. Life has to go on. We can’t live in a bubble forever.

1. Wear a mask inside a public setting or in a crowd.
2. Take temperature at work and crowded events like sports for entry.
3. Wash your hands a lot. Use sanitizer.
4. If you are sick, stay home. If you are vulnerable use precautions.
5. Get our kids back in schools. They are missing out on key development events and learning online is not the same at that age.

This really isn’t that hard. Don’t be extreme. Use common sense. I wish our leaders would apply the same methodology.

I mean that's great in theory but we live in a world where a grown woman purposely coughs on a baby because she is pissed at the mother.

Yup. That’s the point. No matter what you suggest or what the guidelines are, some people simply aren’t going to listen or follow them. But most people will, and if most people buy in, this thing will run its course.

Locking things down forever isn’t the answer though. The country and world simply can’t afford it.

Well, actually had gone back behind the pine the last few weeks just because the money is so much better than manual labor.

People for the most part have been cool but there’s always a couple tough guys that refuse to put the mask on for 13 seconds. We just kindly ask them to gtfo.

Better yet just start taking over countries and all their resources. With all the pissed off people here turning on each other focusing that energy on other countries should make for fast takeovers. All the while using the spike in positive 18-25 year olds to spread it to said countries to kill off any resistance from those not already dead. Beats the hell out of other options and we can make it a sport and send all the journalists to cover it.

This is coming in Nashville as well, as early as this weekend or next week.
Was at a bar/grill last weekend, sat in bar area, was packed with drunk-*** rednecks all over each other, servers not wearing masks or gloves (kitchen staff was). My waitress went missing for a good while right after our food came out, spotted her in the outside patio area sitting in a NASCAR fan's lap pretty much making out with him.
Nope honey, we are done and going self-quarantine for a while longer.
It is a free-for-all shitshow around here.

It’ll be interesting to see how long this lasts this go round. I can tell you not one bar down here has closed or stop serving drinks even though it was “effective immediately”. I’d bet quite a few places don’t do anything until someone makes them.

That being said, they’re saying they’ll suspend or even pull your liquor license if you don’t comply.

Bars are still jam packed. Going to bike around grab a couple claws and see what the coconut express is saying around town.

Nashville was rull rowdy from Day 1 of reopen -- at least wherever the hell my brother frequents.

Surprised they lasted this long.

Been in Destin all week. Place is slammed. Beaches, restaurants, shopping. All wall to wall and masks are sparse.

Corona is cancelled as far as these people are aware and the “50%” capacity effort is comical. Had to be 100 people piled around McGuire’s last night to get in and an already full restaurant.

Will be an interesting stretch coming up.

I wish it were that easy but here in NC a good 50/50 split on people who are either wearing masks or adamant that it's come kind of 2A personal affront requesting that they wear a mask. We go under a "required" mask policy later today and our Sheriff decided to post on FB how he won't be enforcing unconstitutional laws, in spite of the fact that it's not a law and that it's up to the businesses to enforce at their discretion. We're the only country fighting this thing like it's some kind of D vs. R battle.

One of the worst aspects of workaRonafromhoma, we get ambushed from the local kids and hens as soon as you open front door and step outside to wash car, do yard work, or just going to grocery.

There they are. same little kids inviting your kid to the backyard, same incessant henspeak...stuck. Can’t be rude, but Jesus I’ve lost the art of small talk and wasting time.

Well, you are the only one who has said that. Regardless...player A with 4 wins inc. a British, and player B with 5 wins.....player A is chosen every day in terms of a career model.

There are countless examples of PGA golfers w/ a 2-3 line resume' of accomplishments that inc. a major...sure, maybe they wanted to have an encyclopedia like Tiger, but they wouldn't give back what they earned. As BBdk stated yesterday...the guy who went straight fire at his course is better than anyone we have played with for the most part, but still can't crack the big time on a regular basis. Those guys are the best. Period. And to win...and then a major.

You're a dipshit.

Ben Curtis is 43, Ricky 31. Lets give Ricky another 12 years, especially his prime years before we call this contest. Glad you do not call elections. Once again, WRONG. Do you even think before posting a rebuttal ? Serious question.

Jason Duffner - Major winner
Keegan freaking Bradley - Major winner

Are they better than Ricky Fowler ??

And don’t forget we have 50 different governors and philosophies. And only a few countries even rival our sheer size and population. Comparing us to Italy is apples to oranges. The entire EU is a better comparison.
And the individual European Union countries quickly fell back on their sovereignty when the **** hit.

Like it or not, this is where a strong federal government can be helpful. Also keep in mind that many european countries are far more densely populated and are still stymieing this thing while we literally had a dick measuring contest south of the mason dixon to see who could have a beer first. Just a thought. I agree with your original post, just use some common sense and stop treating every slight request as some kind of personal attack.
