Shocking, I thought Cade only cared about winning..
Yawn. This shock and awe post falls flat.
LOL at "despite post season ban." You don't have to ban 11-13 win teams from the NCAA tournament. That's basically a self-ban.

Makes sense. If winning a championship was more important than being near his brother he would have picked Kentucky in the first place. His brother was the reason he picked them, his brother is still there. Why leave?
Bad thing is he will be playing in front of a half empty arena (given crowds are permitted) because their fans arent gonna show up knowing that there is no hope for this season. What a waste! I'd be willing to bet a "minor injury" pops up and he misses most of the season

I guess it is the expected decision. The kid wanted to play for brother no matter what. While being the top player in the country, actually being apart of the tourney should have been some kind of factor. We all know the kid is good, but talented enough to take a team lacking any talent to the tourney? Sorry, but the kid ain't that good.
Cade will have a very forgettable college career. Because of a cheating coach that hired his brother. Or should I say bought his brother. The Cunningham family made their bed, now they can sleep in it.

Proof point that a lot of these guys would rather play where it's familiar (close to home, with family, etc) for a year, than go somewhere else, even if that some place else has chances to win tournament games.
The kid wanted to make sure his brother had another year of work and salary. And on the same hand, Cade will be able to shoot it 40 times a night, and will probably put up huge numbers.
The bottom line is Cade isn’t worried about college or a championship. It’s simply a necessary step before entering the league, and 500k isn’t worth not playing for his brother when he will earn likely100x that in the nba, or more
These kids won't likely regret this decision now. It comes back and bites them in their later years.

Or got a huge raise...we already got the ban let's give him a raise, what could they do to us. per say on the other hand, that's the same mentality U6 had with Bowden, now they waiting on the big hammer to fall
That would have been an epic G League select team with him manning the PG. He will definitely look great at OSU, but how much will they win?

This is dead up the case !! IF he left the brothers job would have been in jeopardy for sure.
All of the major national basketball writers. Forde, Goodman, etc are tweeting it out as "Huge News" because they were afraid he was going to UK. UL fanboy media did the same thing, they all retweeted that he was staying because they thought there was a chance he would go to UK. [laughing]
I just don’t get how playing for the guy you grew up with is the best choice for him. I mean, the sentimental value for them must be very compelling, because in no way, shape, form is this the best business decision. Hey, enjoy it Cade! Hope he has a fruitful career.
I never really thought he was going leave with his brother on staff, sanctions or not. Just another season where the possible top pick is hardly seen on tv.
Yea that seems pretty likely. Brother may even get a “well-deserved” pay raise...
