Car detail include paint correction?

Nope. Not the Silver Package.

Includes...
  • Wash painted surfaces
  • Clean door and gas tank hinges
  • Clean and dress rims, tires, and wheel wells
  • Clean outer and inner windows
  • Wax exterior surfaces for ultimate shine and protection
  • Clean cup holder and ashtray
  • Carpet and seat vacuumed
  • vacuum trunk
  • Deep clean and shampoo seats, carpet, floor mats, and headliner
  • Thoroughly clean dashboard, center console, and inner door panel as well as pockets and compartments
Spick and Span Detailing. They do a helluva job and they come to you. It is usually a lot cheaper because they run a special for our building and set up in the parking lot all day.

Of course, I just grabbed the dude's business card and gave him a buzz without realizing that and said, "Whatever I did last time was great. Yes, the Silver Package. That's it. Sounds good."

Touch it... it'll be clean on the way down and full of sand on the way back, anyway. If Marge wants to travel in a clean car, Marge travels in a clean car.

Tell them you want the clay bar thrown in for $300... sheesh. Carnauba wax?

Love detailing.

I use this guy in my hometown. My car is very inexpensive, but super clean.

Remember when Occupy Wall Street was a thing?

That basically amounted to a bunch of losers setting up a homeless camp in downtown Louisville. Not sure what they wanted to accomplish, but I believe they failed.

Stupid busy and will spare everyone from my miserable life right now.

But, big thank you to @anthonys735 for donating to the PGA Tour Bike MS team. My wife has been melting down because like everything else, the pandemic has nearly f'd up all their progress to date. Every bit is going to mean more for them so thank you again. Awesome gesture and made her day.

Huge fan of all the woke posts by my friends on social media, but this is next level:

"I’ve been struggling with the knowledge that my silly, sweet boys exist in an unjust world with a lot of privilege. I promise to raise them with an understanding of that privilege and the responsibility that comes with it. They will not be perfect, but they will be expected to do the work. Just like their mama."

Wut? Wat?11?1!?11!

https://indiana.rivals.com/news/christian-watford-discusses-his-btn-documentary-about-the-wat-shot-

Indiana has many all-time greats connected to the basketball program, but in recent years, there may be none more popular than Christian Watford. While his career at Indiana went far beyond one single shot, the 'Wat Shot' will go down in IU history as one of those 'where were you when' moments.

Because of that, the Big Ten Network created a documentary surrounding the shot and aired it on Thursday as part of Indiana's Big Ten Network takeover day.

When my dad was 17 he walked into my grandfather’s room and found him dead of a heart attack. Grandfather served in WWII.

My grandmother (dad’s mom) dropped out of school when she was 10 to raise her brothers and sisters during the Great Depression and could barely read.

My other grandfather (mom’s dad) grew up dirt poor in Corbin and worked on the railroad for most of his life. Lived in a basement most of the time because it’s all they could afford. Was a marine in WWII in the South Pacific.

My grandmother (mom’s mom) spent 3 years in the hospital with TB in the 1940s. She got breast cancer in the 1950s. She went to college in the 1960s after my grandfather died. And then became a teacher because she had to raise a family by herself.

All but 2 of the grandchildren (including both sides) have graduated from college. Most have graduate degrees.

I’m sure we all have similar stories. Spare me the white privilege crap. My family grew up dirt *** poor in BFE Kentucky. But we made ends meet. And all tried to make life better for the next generation.

Society needs to quit making excuses. Life isn’t easy.

Well, my grandma grew up dirt poor and the daughter of Irish immigrants. She had 9 children, two died at birth. One of the kids wasn’t my grandpas child but he took my grandma in anyway and raised the kid the same as all the others that followed. He was an alcoholic and a plumber.

They lived in a 800SF two bedroom one bath house in shivery with 7 kids. My mom got pregnant with my sister when she was 18. Lucky for us my mom was embarrassed by growing up in poverty. She has a tremendous work ethic but that would probably have only taken her so far.

Lucky for us, there was a nursing shortage in the 70’s and she was able to go to nursing school and retire as an RN. My dad went from working at Kroger to working in the chemical plant at Rohm & Haas. He was a basic plant worker but lucky for us, there was a strong union at Rohm and Haas and he had good benefits and made a good wage.

My parents were able to send three kids to private catholic school and off to college with no loans or student debt.

I don’t know what it is like to face poverty and my children likely won’t either. A lot of that has to do with my parents work ethic and outlook on life. But I know that isn’t the only reason. A few things broke their way because of things totally outside their control that led to us having a better life than they did as kids.

I think the saying is luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity. Lucky for me they were prepared when opportunities arose. Life is a crapshoot and I think society should find ways to create more opportunities for as many people in society that want to take advantage of those opportunities. I also think some people, through no fault of their own, will only get the smallest window of opportunity.

She also survived pushing a bucket out of her ***.

No offense.

That must be the lowest quarter-century "high-water mark" of any program that was once (justifiably) grouped among the all-time elite. Pathetic. But [roll]

It’s almost like a legitimate cause has been hijacked by an entirely different narrative alienating people who would otherwise be sympathetic and helpful, causing everyone to dig in their respective foxholes.

I know that’s a reach.

I think claiming that the “Eyes of Texas” is a racist song could be the end of it. And by the way, the “outside agitators” in that situation was UT-Austin’s own Liberal Arts Twitter account.

Read a book review the other day that said the Texas Rangers were all vigilante, lynching white supremacists.

Pretty much destroyed one of the formative ideals of my youth.
