[laughing] this post made me laugh as I doubt the best recruiter in modern college basketball history can or needs to get " more involved in recruiting " . That would be like saying Micheal Jordan needs to care more about winning or Kate Upton needs to keep up her beauty routine more LOL. When you are the best at what you do you just tweak things here and there and keep momentum going . I mean he just signed his best class ever if you include transfers ( which you should) and even if you don't it is this , 2013 or 2010 class as best all time for him . He is at the top of his game and has at least another 10 strong years as a HC here.

And I fully expect Banchero , Hardy , BHH , and others to be part of the 2021 class. Suspect it will be a 6 man class and we will add those 3 plus a PG ( chandler ? ) , a SF and one other player .

I think they meant Cal is taking on more of the burden, and not letting the assistants botch the main targets.

Fletcher, Ware, Allen, and Toppin are expected back. Askew and Jackson are not guaranteed OAD candidates. So we could have 6 guys back.

If one of those guys transfers or goes pro, then Cal will use the transfer portal to fill in the blanks.

Hardy and Huntley-Hatfield are the most likely elite players.

Chandler is a possibility.

Then probably one more.

Plus at least one transfer.

Hardy is a stone killer. With him and Banchero it almost doesn't matter who the role players are.

If Hardy goes to college, I think he will be at UK.

I would be psyched to have Hardy and Huntley-Hatfield along with Askew, Allen, Fletcher, Ware, Jackson, and Toppin back as our main rotation. Round it out with immediately eligible transfers or some 4-star multi-year recruits.
