Interesting that you make that argument when the consensus is usually that every young player we have ***** the bed in March.

Not having a tournament may have saved what little draft stock he still has since he didnt go 1-9 against Marquette in an Elite 8 loss.

Not everyone is Tyler Herro.

Regards,

Knight, Teague, Aaron H., Young, Fox, SGA

Lmao. You bring up Knight every time

NCAA:

FG: 26-79 (33%)
3pt: 12-35 (34%)

Final 4: 13-41

Dream Cake Title Game: 6-23 (3-12 from 2 & 3-11 from 3)

Yeah he hit a couple huge shots and made the F4 - but he also had Lamb, Jones, Liggins, a very good-by-then Harrelson, etc

Herro shot worse from 3, but also had a clutch game winner himself. He also had PJ & a bunch of bums to play with.

Knight was very good, but HE is the most overhyped guy we’ve had. Wayyyyy Too much credit gets assigned to him over that team, especially by you.

He was also the long time #1 touching recruit in the country. Otherwise, great comp. [eyeroll]

“The last thirty years” sets a very different playing field for what Kentucky could produce of architectural significance because Kentucky itself has become less significant over time - especially compared to what it could build in the late 1800’s.
Yeah I didn't read his post.

Man. D Lamb REALLY didn't get a lot of shots in the 2010-2011 Tournament for only playing 7 guys.

Princeton 3/7
West Virginia 2/5
Ohio State 2/5
UNC 3/5
UCONN 5/10

Not a piece of architecture, but remember when the Ohio River fountain was brought to Louisville and there was hype that this was going to be the equal of something like the Gateway Arch but after awhile it became the city equivalent of having a Camaro on blocks in the front yard.

Yeah besides his two game-winners (one against the tournament top seed), 30 point explosion and lighting up North Carolina to give us first F4 in 13 years, Knight SUCKED.

Yeah, never said that

And Teague lmao. I was his biggest defender, he was a key cog & among the most under appreciated guys we’ve *ever* had - but get real if you’re talking comps as a steady PG on THAT historic team vs a 4* Wisconsin white boy on a marginal one.

Your Herro loathing (and it IS loathing, I have all the documented proof) is beyond bizarre. Period.

That’s really my only point here - not demeaning other Kates

Commonwealth Stadium remodel is pretty dope. And it made our football team good. Win win.
Sport architecture never gets its due because the juries that award accolades are mostly former nerds that resent sports. Commonwealth is nice, but they dropped the ball with the colors, IMO. Too many near-miss shades of blue. Sloppy.

We’re set to reopen June 1 and it is a huge controversy. Most don’t want to open up to the Miami crowd with all the virus in the state. Plus, they’re super terrible to bartend for and tip like ****. All these people saying, “We need to work!” sure as f**k haven’t gone to Publix, Home Depot, Ace or GFS to try and get a job because those freaking servers/bartenders are waaaaaay too good to work there. ::rolleyes::

They’re a joke. I’m cool to break my back swinging hammers, sledges and saws but they won’t bag some groceries or stock some shelves.

I’d rather stay closed a little longer to ensure we don’t get the “second wave” and have to shut down the rest of the year.

I’ve already got an interview/meeting to get hired at a bar Saturday because when all these fools get their unemployment cut off they’ll all be looking for jobs at the same time. Good luck gang, there’s going to be hundreds looking for jobs at the same time. Tack on all the bars/restaurants that closed and there’s hundreds of less jobs right more to get.

Don’t get me wrong, we’ve been in the best place for all this with beaches open and beautiful weather, but a LOT of people are going to be in for a rude awakening. Especially when they’re used to making $300-500 a day and it’s going to be like $80-100 per shift for a long while. Then they’ll ***** about their shifts and not making money.

Oh and on top of that there’s a tropical storm heading this way....

I was gonna move to the Keys but if there’s tropical storms ever involved I’m out.

If you’re betting horses in races for less than 50K that racing form is useless. You’ll never be able to compensate for the cheating that of course never happens. Cough, cough

Hello 80 degree weather and boating. Missing hot girls in bikinis as much as sports!

Speaking of colors...

So my pops is on the super beet kick. He gave me a bottle of the juice to try out...not the best tasting stuff, but if you blend with carrot and celery not bad.

But the purple poop...lol.

Anyone have any scoop on the temp job situation in The Keys?

Strategies on how one might get a leg up on the competition?

Anyone care?

Anyone know any mid-30s adults who constantly brag online [*despite the striking fact that NOBODY EVER asks*], yet split their rent payments with the designated Transient of the Month?

I think it might be the one diverse, yet fascinating, point of view that GYERO is missing.

If only The Keys had a Nextdoor app.
