So with the coronavirus taking over and the school year In question if the season gets canceled will any of the freshmen ever play at Kentucky?
Lets wait and see what the heat does to this menace...So with the coronavirus taking over and the school year In question if the season gets canceled will any of the freshmen ever play at Kentucky?
UK plans to be open for the fall semester. So with the coronavirus taking over and the school year In question if the season gets canceled will any of the freshmen ever play at Kentucky?
Because they are 18-19-20 year old kids in peak physical conditions. They likely have a 99.9% survival rate IF they catch it.not sure why any athlete would take the risk and play. especially ones with a real professional future. apartments, nursing homes, processing plants...any close quarters situations are breeding grounds for this. much like gyms, workout rooms. and with the potential for long term lung damage...is it really worth it? of course fans will say yes....many depend on sports like they depend on oxygen. but i would have 2nd thoughts if i was someone like boston or clarke.
Better chance of being killed in a car wreck.Because they are 18-19-20 year old kids in peak physical conditions. They likely have a 99.9% survival rate IF they catch it.

I guess it's a good thing since their NBA careers are effectively overyou mean the ones with guaranteed multi million dollar contracts....
Do you wear a mask while driving your car? Be honestyou mean the ones with guaranteed multi million dollar contracts....

I wasn’t gonna post that. Thought I had deleted it. I wouldn’t bet on it, but wouldn’t bet against it, either.I wouldn't bet against that even if I were playing with house money
Even if the season is played, we're going to have this Covid thing hanging over our heads all season.
I can hear it now, so and so has tested positive for Covid and the team and Staff will be quarantined for minimum of 2 weeks.
Then you will have the teams they play against thinking, "we don't want to play against this sick bunch" Lol I just don't know how it's going to go.
Covid-19 is no doubt real but it's also a political agenda to something else. We just don't know what yet. It makes no sense as to why they've shut down the Country over a virus that doesn't have no where near the outcome that the seasonal Flu has.
The season will not be cancelled. So with the coronavirus taking over and the school year In question if the season gets canceled will any of the freshmen ever play at Kentucky?
Covid also currently has a 1.3% mortality rate. That is TEN TIMES higher than the flu.
I still can't fathom that folks are still comparing CV-19 to the flu.....![]()
Does it?
That is the big question right now.
Some reports have said that deaths have been over reported due to people testing positive and then dying of “complications” which were just other pre-existing medical conditions.
Some report that the rate is probably less than 1%.
Even if you discard that as “agenda biased” info, there is the fact that lots of people have not been tested that have had it.
Just in my family, I have this example: my 2nd cousin(30’s) tested positive (worked at the nursing home) and brought it home to his grandparents(late 70’s) and uncle(50). They never went to the doctor and never were tested. They have all recovered. Of those four, only one was confirmed and only one recovered(officially). Another of my cousin’s wife had it and brought it home to him. He recovered without going to the doctor or being tested. So that’s another unconfirmed case with a recovery.
It is a serious and dangerous disease, but the data is flawed, IMHO.
Still, the danger to certain groups like the elderly is enough to take it seriously and to practice safe measures (masks, gloves, social distancing).
I just question how deadly it really is?
We really don’t know, it’s all estimated based on this or that.
I am definitely taking it seriously (been pretty much nowhere for two months), but I just wonder if some media is trying to scare others who are not taking it seriously.
And I am not saying one side is right or wrong, just questioning the data.
with 80,000 dead, it would rank as the 7th leading cause of death in 2017....in just 10 weeks. by the end of the summer it will be 4th or 5th on that list.
The death rate is no where near that 80,000 it has been proven by a lot of Dr's that if someone came into the hospital and died of cancer it was put on their death cert. as the coronavirus that they died from.
.

Funny, Fauci said today that number is nearly 50% higher than the 80K confirmed. Face it folks, its a dangerous time.
