Everyone keeps bringing up Williams as offering something our other recruits don't have, which is outside shooting in the frontcourt, but Williams shot just 33 3-pointers last year in 18 games. That 1.8 3PA per game is the same as what Reid Travis averaged in his last year at Stanford and Patterson averaged in 2010. Williams is a good player of course and shot 45%, but expecting him to be someone to gameplan around is mistaken imo.

This is true, but what were Travis’ and Patterson’s 3 point percentages?

His former coach and mentor said either Sunday or Monday morning. Getting the feeling Corey Evans may have been right when he said Williams may not announce as planned. Looking like there really is some conflict for the young man. Usually these cases don't end well for us.
