but to his credit, there were usually one or two of the guys in different colored jerseys going with him.
and at least one of them was in a half nelson or an abdominal stretch

I hear ya, but Prickett wouldn't have reached 1700 pts. even if he had hit 100% of all the 2-pt shots he had ever missed, much less just all of the lay ups so . . . Either way he wouldn't have even reached the top 10. That doesn't mean he wasn't a decent ball player in many areas. For his career he was better than 50% from the field
.
Say what you want about him. Prickett #5 all time in steals. One of the most perplexing stats in all-time UK lore. Not trying to hijack a thread about great stumblers. Can't believe there hasn't been any Chuck Verderber love yet.

Chuck's freshman year was the season immediately after the '78 championship. So I guess you could say Verderber was a "late Hall" player but he started out during Hall's middle years as the UK coach. Joe B. coached 3 more seasons after Verderber left the program.

Rob freaking Lock
Spent most of the game on the floor {after each lay-up he missed}
This x 1000. Lob Rock, as we called, him spent half the season prostrate on the floor.

Ed Davender would fall every time he drove and it seemed as though he was always at the FT line.

All of you are wrong. Check out a center we had in 1984-85 named Robert Lock. This dude mopped the floor up.

Barber, can't remember his first name. He played for Tubby and he fell way more than Archie.

I believe I've been tricked! Billy Clyde must trump them all although most of his falling was into the pool or onto a coed.

MKG spent a lot of time on the deck, much of it as a result of effort, but he fell a lot.

MKG looked like he’d been shot when he would go down. I always thought our season was over when he would hit the ground. He’d be on the floor for 45 seconds and then would get up like nothing ever happened.

Briscoe is the first that comes to mind for me. Me and my girl used to always joke about it

Ramel Bradley. Always trying to draw the “and 1” or at least get to the stripe. Me and a buddy used to always joke that it didn’t matter win or lose, Ramel and Joe were gonna get their 20!

I think Archie Goodwin fell down more than any former Cat, maybe he holds the NCAA record for most falls in one season. Are ther others you can remember?
At the time I described Archie as he played like he was running down a flight of stair. Got in such a lather to head to the bucket with his head down he lost all control.

I would have to say it was Rob Lock, he was always on the ground. Archie went to the ground every drive trying to draw a foul. I don't count that. He went down on his own. I bumped into Rob Lock at J-Sutter's Mill on the dance floor and knocked him down and I only weighed 225 then, what a kitty!!
