I’m 25 and honestly didn’t really get into CBB until about 2009-2010 and of course it was Cal coming to UK that made me fall in love with CBB as a whole and I guess this new era of CBB. So I guess I represent the “younger” generation of fans that aren’t necessarily viewed in positive light here I suppose and understandably at times IMO. However, I live and grew up in Baltimore, I played football, basketball, and baseball growing up and am a former college football player myself and am still active in sports to this days and probably forever. Went to school in the DMV/DC area and frequent there.

I decided to make this account because I felt as though I could bring some good/fair points and also be sort of a bridge and reason to help bring the points and clarity to the mindsets of young recruits today to this board, as I am close with many and have many peers I talk to often who are in similar positions in multiple sports including basketball of course. So hello and I apologize for the long initial post but just my spill and introduction to you all!!

Welcome im a fsu football fan and a UK basketball. Mike norvelle is going to be awesome and cant wait to see how Calipari fills this roster. Let's get Sarr and freaking roll.

I am a casual ND football fan as well. When I was a kid we didn't have cable until my Freshman year of high school. I used to watch ND on NBC every week and loved their uniforms. Was a big fan of team with Mier, Brooks, Bus, Demetrius Dubose, etc. Then they had that huge game in South Bend vs FSU following year against Charlie Ward. Won that game and chucked one against BC or would have played for NC.

I am a UK football fan first but still pull for ND as well.

I remember in 2015 thinking if we lost EE game I would have to disband my loyalty to ND football permanently and get rid of one of my favorite old workout shirts...lol.

If you’re strictly talking a school BEHIND UK in both sports, I’ve always admired Michigan State and UCLA.

The feelings are mutual all the way. From day one I knew taggart was a bad hire but can’t wait for Norvell. And I know they don’t like to hear/read it but Cal’s been doing this literally almost half my life. He’s earned my trust.

I understand, hell I even appreciate the certain aspects of the pro game that I watched growing up and respect the eras of the past and the way the game was played then as well.
