I disagree on most of this.

- Whitney obviously sucked but Cal had to give it a shot. If he ever got it, it would have really helped the team.

- Juzang was complete garbage but for a few games. Saying otherwise is revisionist ********. He can’t guard. He can’t drive. His shot was only ok. He was a typical freshman. It’s fine but let’s not act like he was good this year.

- Everyone’s offensive stats, most importantly IQ’s, dipped when Hagans was out.

- By season’s end, Montgomery had found his role and was a good option at the 4.
I have more likes than you so my version of the truth is correct.

Everything you said about Juzang is correct, and could have also been said -- and much more emphatically -- about Cameron Mills, for example. And yet that guy somehow managed to be a HUGE piece to 2 great teams, despite being absolute dogshit in every single skill on the court......except for one.

Not everyone has to be a gd 5-star "stud" with a 10 million view mixtape to help us win, wcc.

Ummm... Cameron Mills did not sniff the court until he was a Junior.

Trying to bill 7.5/day while chasing three kids around with a wife who also has a demanding job. Not to mention home schooling one of them. Ha! Lol.

My numbers were **** today so I poured a giant glass of bourbon (which was refilled) and sat down at the computer after the kids went down and ended up at 7.0 for the day.

Can’t vouch for the quality, but the quantity is there!!!

FML, and F u too.

Juzang's time increased as the year went on and he continued to improve. The path was completely cleared for him to be a starter and have all the shots he wanted. He chose to leave bc he didn't want to compete with two 5 star wings.

This whole debate about players leaving isn't necessarily just about whether or not they're "good" when they leave or if they were ever that good... as fans, we naturally want to root for "our guys" to improve and help our team. The regular replacement of the entire roster never makes them feel like "our guys".

Nobody else seems to care and it makes fewer of us care over time. Sucks.

Think of the size of that boner had we not stayed in the last month.

No one is disputing the positive effects of the last month....but that line has been reached where businesses need to unlock their doors, especially in our state....or you will see a Peter Northesque graph from the negative effects of being locked down.

Yup. At any other program would Brooks have release a statement saying he’s coming back? No, it would be implied.

Look I love Cal, this has been a fun run and we can call kids idiots and soft for leaving to go, well, anywhere but here but the fact remains we have a culture of leaving this program after one or two years...it used to be to become a lottery pick now it’s just to GTFO for some reason.

Cal can adjust and adapt, I think he will. I would like him to start by getting a fresh face on the staff that he respects and isn’t just a “yes man”.
