There’s is a 0.0% chance people who went to Easter service will agree to be quarantined for 14 days.

Why should they? Do people quarantine after they stroll thru Kroger or Wally World, where you are at a helluva bigger risk than sitting in a church service.

Is It possible to race competitively without sponsors because no one is going to want to sponsor the N-word guy. More than any other sport I think that ends his career.

Randoms for Chad...

-Think it got lost in translation with my CBB writer post, but I wasn't saying that I don't want a guy unless he has NBA-level talent. The CBB writer was just saying that too many fanbases think a grad transfer is gonna save the day, when most of them have pretty ordinary seasons. I love the Mintz pickup, and have from the start. No way were you gonna convince some of these guys (Jones, Aiken, etc.) averaging 18 ppg to come here knowing that Boston, Clarke, and possibly Quickley (though he's gone now) would be here.

Mintz is exactly what we've all been wanting for a while now, and one of the articles I read this weekend (Tucker?) made it sound like Cal was specifically wanting a guy who didn't need 12 shots a game, and could provide veteran minutes, leadership, etc. from a solid program. Jackpot.

But if it made PTI happy to drop one on me, so be it. I don't hate the guy.

-Our church went online as soon as this thing broke. Partially out of necessity, as we meet in a school and didn't have a choice. But we would've done it anyway. With today's technology, there's literally no excuse not to. There was one church in town that was defiant for about a week, but that went over like a lead balloon and they gave up. At this point, shame from the locals would be a much stronger deterrent than anything Andy would serve up.

-The smoker (Masterbuilt) and grill (Weber premium kettle) that we bought two weeks ago are easily the best purchases we've made in the past two years.

-Finally watched the first episodes of "Schitt's Creek" and "Sopranos" last night. Will have to be a slowly-acquired taste, I guess. Needed some strong options after "Modern Family" stumbled across the finish line last week.

If all these guys are going to the draft because this entire class stinks, it doesn’t make them better players.

If I were a GM drafting and I’m on the clock ... I’d look at this crop and just say, ‘Pass’. May as well get a vet on the cheap in free agency.

These kids aren’t ready or suck.

-Shame we're going to have 2 elite freshman and appear to be short on the cast to surround them. Seems to be the story since 2016. CBB is going to be awful again next year. Hope for a "super-team" is out the window assuming Richards is gone.

-28 degrees tomorrow night, so at least we have that going for us.

-Props to those that got Easter dressed up. Tried to talk WS into a mock picture. We never got our of yoga pants, pajamas, shorts. Did make a pretty wodie dinner though.

-Why on Earth would they stream something like that live without delay? No justifying it but they're sitting at home and it's probably easy to forget you're being broadcast to the world.

-Glad SNL tried but it was pretty awful.

-Trolls 2 was decent though. i'll give it a B.

-Do yourself a favor and don't watch the most recent Tiger King episode. Worthless. Just leave it as is.

Spare me the lecture on this being "part of the deal". It's exhausting and it's not producing results that we all signed up for when making this Faustian bargain. Fringe second rounders / G league schlubs shouldn't need to be convinced that another crack at a title and all the ADPi's they want is a bad deal.

Cal once again the worst recruiter of his own players in the history of sport. I don’t want Roy Williams convincing lottery picks to stay three years, but I would like Cal to have honest discussions with guys who have no chance of being drafted in the first round. Guys consistently leaving when they shouldn’t isn’t “players first” it’s “brand first” and it’s an embarrassing joke.

Was easier to swallow when he had 4 top 10 players coming in each year.

I mean, Cal certainly has his flaws but, to some extent, this is where "college basketball" is. If you recruit any top 50ish players, they're going leave as soon as they think they can "get paid." They don't care about NCAA titles or the college experience. More of the best guys are drifting overseas anyway. The sport as a whole is a wreck and we've seen it decline as we roll our eyes through season by season of AAU-like play.

If the NCAA doesn't start paying players soon, we'll certainly get our wish of kids staying longer when all of the best HS players never set foot on a college campus.

- We’ll be pretty damn good by March again. It’s just the long build we’re likely going to endure again will suck. Who knows- if we get Haarms and/or one of Richards/EJ back, we could be good sooner than later. Boston and Clark are Monk/Fox level studs.

- Have always found Easter to be a pretty overrated holiday.

- And there’s no more disappointing weather month than April. More often than not, it’s cold. Which is awesome because nice weather is all we have right now.

Yep- and Dookie Adam Silver’s plan is going to make it even worse. We’ll still have OADs but never see the Top 15 players even suit up.

Under contract for a house a few doors down from me. Been eyeing this one for a long time, finally saw it pop up on the market Saturday morning.

Had never met the owner as it was a full time AirBNB home. Turns out it's Charles Walker's dad, and my Kentucky football fandom finally paid off. Guy and his wife loved me, had another offer but picked the lass and me because we were good Kentucky people. And I sent over a thank you letter and bottle of OWA for letting us see the house on such short notice.

Been a wild 48 hours.

I know you guys are frustrated that we're turning the entire roster over again, but at least they're spreading their decisions out over days and weeks even though everyone probably already decided to go weeks ago. That gives time for us to really be reminded of the frustration every couple of days while ******** rumors fly around that screw with our hearts. Much better to jerk a bandaid off in sections than all at once. BBN really is an afterthought at this point. Just keep the cash flowing and be grateful.

It also gives each player their own special day... For us to try to suppress hate and frustration and be happy for them.

Yay! So proud.

I knew I was being stupid, but I really thought IQ was coming back.

Right now we have a 5-star coming back for his SO season, a 4-star coming off of an injury redshirt season, Five 5-stars (including 2 top 5 players) and a 4-star coming in, and a SR transfer who started 79 games in the Big East.

If Richards shocks the world and comes back I'll love my team. If Haarms transfers in, it'll help a lot. An experienced 7'3 rim protector would be huge (literally). If EJ comes back, it'll help.

Any 2/3 of those things and we might be #1.

Mintz/Askew
Boston/Allen
Clarke/Fletcher
Brooks/Jackson/Ware
Richards/Haarms/EJ

Any coach in the country would be happy with that, I would think.

But I get the frustration. It was different when we were losing lottery picks. Marginal ******** leaving early sucks.

It really is a college basketball problem and not just a Coach Cal/UK problem. It just effects us more because we have more good players.

The real ******** are players like Baker/Juzang/Whitney/Green and their "handlers" who can't wait their turn and end up hurting themselves in the long run.
