Not sure if I’m going to stream Easter Sunday mass at my house. I know it’s the right thing to do, but it just seems lame. Plus there is zero chance my kids would even consider sitting down and watching that and they may well mutiny. I feel that a mutiny may be imminent anyhow.

Try this channel. They’ll have the event put up by Saturday night. Do you have boys? If so, they might like a solemn high Latin Mass more than whatever they’ve attended in person. All the precision movements and whatnot seems to hold younger men’s attention more than Fr. Jim welcoming everyone for gathering in to love each other radically this glorious Sunday.

Can someone explain to me why TVs shouldn’t be hung over a fireplace, exactly? Is it because folks in the 1800’s didn’t do that? Is it because it takes away from staring at the fireplace? I don’t get it. If Don Draper had a 72” flat screen I’m pretty sure he’d hang it above the mantle too so all of you shitting on my tv over my gas insert fireplace can taste me.
When your eyeline drifts above the horizon line, your brain kicks on different brainwaves (aroused to look out for predators, etc) and doesn’t let you relax and focus your full attention on Thor Ragnarok.

These people exist. They’re horrible. That was the point of the series. I don’t think people actually like any of them.
A quick google of "Joe Exotic Merchandise" says otherwise. Awful lot of gear out there, from t-shirts to candles to condoms for people they despise. I mean, it's 2020, who even uses a prophylactic anymore when Magic found a cure for the aids.

Only better post workout feeling is swimming but it's a hassle in a small town to find an indoor pool open for lap swim and obviously not an option now...although if this thing goes through the summer I might piss my neighbors off and buy an above ground pool.

Re: yoga. If this Eliot guy can get me into a 30 minute workout that I can do in the morning before the kids and wife wake up and not have me laying on my back listening to rain forest sounds, meditating and what not then I'm in. I get that that's part of yoga but I just want to burn calories and increase my ever decreasing flexibility and strength. I'll meditate over a Miller Lite.
He is definitely a hippie-type (his voice is fairly Spicoli-ish - some people can't handle it but I'm fine with it), but he avoids that stuff for the most part during the sessions. He (and his hard-*** wife) have a 30-minute, month-long program that is really good. And also a one-hour, 108-day one that will absolutely kick your ***. There is also a guy on Youtube (Yoga by Tim) who is pretty good (and free).

Tadelakt is a finish I’ve never used. Have it all over the master bath and kitchen. Interested to see how it turns out.

Fleetwood windows are pretty standard at this price range. Window package with installation is about $250k. 36 foot sliding door in the great room (amazing btw). The moment frame steel making this opening possible along with the steel vaulting the great room is pretty complicated for an otherwise simple house frame.

Pretty extensive solar installation with Tesla power walls.

Tons and tons of shear walls and strong walls. Welcome to California!

This isn’t a passive home but we are very green. FSC lumber, radiant flooring, spray foam, green framing techniques, Prosoco waterproofing, etc.

Cabinets and tops are very modern style, and have a flush detail everywhere. About a $250k package when all said and done.

Landscaping, hardscaping, pool, arbor, and pool house runs about $1.5m.

Almost finished with MEP work and about to put permanent roof on. We’re still going back and forth on the Lutron and smart house stuff.

Intrigued by tadelakt... never used either. Venetian plaster-yes.

We’re redoing our bathrooms so the wife presents to me two choices a few weeks back. They’re both good options that will work fine but I choose one over the other. Get to yesterday, with the tile nearly installed, I come to find out the tile I chose is just about 7x more expensive than the other. Why wouldn’t she mention that part?

*Damn, '73. You building a 50 million dollar home? Gotta link some can see some of your handy work?

*Moving walls? Here I thought my remote controlled back porch screens (walls) are high tech.

*2 TVs over 2 fireplaces. Both loom great.

*Took the day off today to get the extry long weekend. Bored. Should have went in.

*Going to try a pork shoulder tomorrow on the gas grill. Ugh. I'd love to buy an Egg or Traeger, but it's a hard sell to the wife when the house came with a Lion built in grill with a gas line ran to it.

*Went downtown this morning to sign some paperwork. Wow. Barely any cars or bums. Odd sight.

*New season of Ozark is phenomenal. By far the best season.

*Finished Hunters. Nice twist at the end.

*May fire up some 80's movies today. Loved how the writers always figured out a way to write in some titties.

*I ate a full can of Fritos Jalapeno Cheese yesterday. #humblebrag

Very underrated part of 80s movies. PG-13 and better you were almost guaranteed to see titties in every movie. The reduction of gratuitous nudity is one of Hollywood's biggest failings. You're more likely to see a penis than a set of tits these days. SMDH.

- Just had a nice call with my CEO who called to ask about getting everybody else onboard with my Microsoft Teams evangelism. When the call came in, I sent my kids upstairs change (and be quiet) but instead, they put on Ruff Ryders’ Anthem (somehow) and my then my son said, “Hey, Google. Set the volume to 10!”

- Getting really close to finding the perfect balance of being a pot head alcoholic with a surprisingly low BMI. I can safely safe it's a combo of keto, low carb beer or vodka and an embarrassing amount of atkins products. Throw a little weight lifting and cardio in there and it's a life hack.

- Pup is up to about 75 lbs now. GD I love my dog so much that I randomly just get up from working so I can go hold him and scratch his belly. We completely f'd up and let him sleep in the bed early on. Between 1am - 3am, he will jump up, circle and just full body weight drop sideways which puts him right on top of me or the lass. I can sleep through it now. When we wake up, he's all 4 paws in the air tongue out snoring every. single. morning. He can do no wrong.

- RE: Awesome puppy - he dooked so hard this morning and I put serious consideration to sharing on all social media platforms for a variety of reasons. Mainly because it met the minimum requirements of length and girth that if I was my handiwork, I'd want someone to know. But it started raining so we had to run home.

- Being more introverted than ever backfires. Already seen most every worthwhile TV show or movie. Major League for the 2nd time this week. Could basically define my youth to present day with quotes from that movie.

- Our company was acquired last week after about a 1.5 years of negotiating. Pretty funny to be listening to my boss/owner go through that roller coaster of playing hard ball with them until CV hit and then basically having to 180 so they didn't get cold feet. First thing they announced after the deal was finalized is they want to divvy the profits of the sale up to the employees.

- If your wife leads off anything with price, it's because she's that confident there is zero chance you will challenge it or it's below a number you already established for something. Made my mistake with the engagement ring and telling her to pick out what she wants. Never again. If 7 dollar a sq/ft is the price for that lesson, you're still coming out ahead.

-We've been on Microsoft Teams for a few years. Love it.

-We're a Lutron dealer now if anyone wants a hefty investment on smart home stuff. Installed a bunch in our place recently. I'll have the blinds at some point.
Lutron bought Ketra, correct? That system is effin dope.

Color rendering matching daylight of your exact longitude/latitude and time of day is pretty awesome.

Been watching Let’s Make a Deal and The Price is Right this week. I think Wayne Brady and Drew Carey go out of their way to give as little effort as possible into hosting these shows.

Had court yesterday via Skype in case anyone was wondering if that was still a thing
I have been deemed a “Skype Ghost” (technical term) for the past eight months at work. I never appeared available, most people couldn’t chat with me, and Microsoft tech support didn’t care to fix it since they’re deprecating Skype for Teams in the next year or so anyway. It was a nice ride while it lasted.

Not sure I could stomach watching The Price is Right sans Bob Barker. Have never seen one with Drew.
