I know things aren't so great right now, but I do want to give everyone some hope. I rolled over all of my retirement money to Vanguard about 2 months ago, and unbeknownst to me, about half of it has actually been sitting in a money market account since then. So, thru absolute dumb luck and no fault of my own, I'm actually beating the market YTD by about 20 points.

Just thought I'd share that with everyone and cheer you all up.

Executed some trades and now I'm back in 100% equities as of today. Happy Tuesday!

Congratualtions, typhoid casey. That’s a nice surprise for sure.

Yes, ze Germans seem to be doing something different than everyone else.

Heard some talk about splitting ventilators, actually even up to two-four people. Shew-you gas passers have any thoughts on this?

I mean, if a company is retooling to make ventilators, I want Elon musk.

Awful people out there. Same people who brow beat their doctor into writing them a prescription for a handicapped parking spot are same people loading up on TP, going to hospital unnecessarily, and probably are first in the queue for LaRosa's pizza at Taste of Cincinnati. Idiots.

Had a conference call this morning with my boss and the director of our division. We’re supposed to start monitoring all our teams daily productivity. “Not that we don’t trust them but....”

1. I got enough **** to do and to worry about.

2. Pretty confident they’re going to use the numbers to compile lay-off lists.

When all this over might start having sex with ladies my own age again. See what that’s all about. #randomthought

Brandon Stroud is a weird dude. Can’t tell if he’s advocating fascism or the divine right of kings half the time. TMFS.

My son is living in a ramshackle house with a bunch of his friends right now in Antioch. He graduated last year and I told him to delay his entry at Belmont for a year: Work an easy job, chase women, take some road trips. All the things I wish I could have done when I was his age. Now I just want him to break his lease and move back in.

I treat all politicians from both parties like they’re entitled morons until proven otherwise. This crisis is proving me correct.

-started "killing eve". Three episodes in, promising.

-chorizo from the Mexican grocery is sooo much better than the kroger stuff.

-lots if work in the pipeline, plenty of rfp's coming in. I think we'll (the royal)have stuff ready to go when the fog lifts. Translation: folk are still looking at/planning on spending on capital/construction projects. Good, i reckon.

-we may (likely)get shut down for a bit, hear all sorts of stuff. As of now its business as usual(+cdc guidelines). Somebody has to keep payroll taxes flowing. You're welcome.

Denver and Boulder issued shelter-in-place orders yesterday.

Not to worry, liquor stores and marijuana dispensaries are considered "essential" businesses. #winning

A father raising his children... what a novel concept.
A mother and father having unique roles that are biological and universal? Kinda terrible it took like 10,000 years for humans to get smart enough to figure out men are actually just as good as women at nurturing young children. Imagine how much more advanced we would be if our dumbass ancestors just realized Dad could be the primary care giver!*

*Again, it should be noted I don't believe I've ever posted that women should have to stay home, just commenting on the growing trend of mother's broadcasting the fact that they can't stand to be around their children and how touched up that is.

"Drawing" disability with at least a 2-pack a day habit and minimum 3-4 dogs and cats.

There's certainly a lot of talk about Beshear (and Dewine and Cuomo) "crushing it," but we've got quite a ways to go before that can really be determined. Don't get me wrong, I think those guys in particular are doing amazing work given the task at hand, but it will be a few months at least before it can be decided what the best reaction truly was.

My guess is that the gold medal will go to whichever leader.....

- ordered a boatload of masks/ppe/venilators/test kits
- managed to hold onto the economy

Months, maybe years before we find that out.

I think it’s great that the majority of our society has started accepting the fact that while parents love their children unconditionally, the little brats add to our stress and anxiety exponentially during this global pandemic. If expressing that stress on social media for other parents helps us all feel a little better about our own dilemma then in the end we are contributing to the mental well being of #teamkentucky

- Our last day of being in the classroom was 3/13. In those 10 calendar days since then, I think there has been approximately 6 total hours of sunshine. Good stuff.
That’sa bummer, it’s been perfect weather here since shutdown. Low 80s and sunny every day. Wasn’t planning on going to the beach again today but a couple gals called and wanted my buddy and I to join them, so off we go.

~Wishing all on here to stay safe...hug if you want, shag, whatever...just stay safe and don't breathe. Even you, Hank. Not you, Pti...although I do hope your runny nose is better.

~NYC is a cesspool...their way of life caught up with them in a NY second. My better half spends 150 days a yr in midtown and she may not get back up there until June.

~Reading about parents not letting their kids play outside is nuts. I understand not having a spring break get together, but a few kids playing hoops...c'mon.

~Hamilton cancelled next month...will hit it in October.

~Granddaughter's 1st bday party scaled back to strictly immediate family...was looking forward to see her interact w/ other kids.

~Poker game needed if anyone here ever does such a thing.

~For all that complained about working in the fast food industry...well, you are a lifeline right now. Firehouse for lunch.

Take care everyone.

Personally I agree that Bashear is crushing it, but there is a good size population that is PISSED that abortion clinics are still open while churches are closed. Petitions going around etc etc

What a weird time to take a stand!
