The cop also said this is a logistical nightmare. They are discussing 24 hour rotating shifts to limit exposure. Some municipalities have put a unit in reserve in case the first unit gets exposed or is sick. He also agreed (off the record) that it’s really hard telling people to go home from work knowing that they might lose their jobs. Everyone is starting to wonder if this is all worth it.

Edit - WiTF are airports still open if this thing is so serious? That seems like the worst possible thing to remain open. Yeah, let’s put a bunch of people on a metal tube and let them spread all over the country.

If you’re looking for a bargain, this is a great time to travel. Flights are basically free right now.

(note: I have no desire to fly at the moment)

Did Joey go missing?
No.

I closed on a house on Tuesday and still need to sell my house. So I’ve been moving my entire house into the new house 1/4 mile away, by myself, for the past three days.

It may be the best testimonial to a CPO KIA Sorento of all time. I will have moved everything but a couch w/chaise and a queen sized bed by tonight.

Condolences to Pti and the city of Nola on the loss of Black n Mild to the virus.

Come to find out there are TWO local rappers named Black N Mild, so there was some confusion before the surviving one addressed his adoring fans on social media to explain it was the other that died.

Maybe it’s happening and I haven’t seen it since I don’t follow many artists on social media, but this Garth Brooks live streaming virtual concert is a layup. Why aren’t all musicians doing this? He’s gonna get an enormous audience and a ton of goodwill. Total game changer, imo.

Absolutely have to get this **** figured out before SEC Media Days, folks. The thought of not seeing the 2020 football team makes me nauseous.
I hear you, but rest easy football is where the buck stops here in America, Search your soul, you know it. We will have football.

After my historic first season as hc in elite youth football they shan't be taking it away from me. HC'd and ran the defense last year but sliding over to play calling duties this year....will risk plague death and riot in the streets if that's infringed on.

But it's about the kids, and those kinds of things.

Been watching some 1984 games.

Cal would give just about anything to have a team composed like that. I imagine any coach would take Bowie, Turpin and Walker but he would be extry excited.

How can you leave 'In Your Eyes' off there? That's THE banger from the album imo - that saxophone :fire::fire::fire:

^ Nowhere near his last effort, but still better than 98% of the crap we get these days from that community.

-Supposed to be at the Book right now watching nonstop Tourney Action - my whole crew had rooms, was going to be a celebration of hoops & gambol. :(

-Oaklawn it is, today. MattsCatts needs to be a Wildcat Friend and chime in w/ some expert guidance on the track during these times imo.

-Doggies are crushing some Buffalo Trachea from the local homemade dog treat stand. Little cute girl owns/operates the entire deal herself - turned her garage into a butcher shop along w/ 2 commercial dehydrators that she turns her bulk random animal parts into treats. :) (seeing people stand 6 feet apart and make efforts to take wide angles when walking past is just something else, btw - and everyone was [thumb2])

Wouldn’t say it’s amazing. It’s just long. And it’s analysis of a bunch of selected graphs by a guy who isn’t an economist, epidemiologist, virologist, physician, or even a medical or global reporter.

He posts a bunch of graphs followed by his personal interpretation and opinions. It’s an opinion piece; might be right, might be wrong. Not changing my mind by any means, but it is nice to read some alternate views.

Same article that pandemic genius beatinthebookie tweeted out earlier, and that dude’s never been wrong in his entire life.

Hopefully our public officials take into account new studies with better data over the coming weeks before the economy completely crashes

I don’t have feet on the ground in Cali, so I can’t speak for the climate he is encountering but damn. ‘73 has gone completely bipolar over this. Goes from “everything is fine keep living life” to “apocalyptic measures” then back to “its all OK”. He’s always pretty level headed so kinda surprising.

I’m sure it’s a very fluid situation out there and info changes by the hour but stay focused my good man.

Also TN is starting to feel the effects of not taking this **** serious. Got to Raleigh this AM and people are distancing, wiping and sanitizing, just complete 180 from Knoxville.

I have a week off between jobs so I’m hunkering down for next 10 days. If I can find squares

‘92 UK/Duke on CBS at 4pm.

Despite the gut wrenching loss, I still love watching that damn game.

Not sure I’ve ever been more proud of a team in my life as I was that group!

Other things that krazykats loves watching:
1. The girl who broke his heart get happily married and post pictures of her kids on Facebook with tasteful innuendo about how big her hubby's junk is.
2. People pour out good bourbon to commemorate their dead homies.
3. 9/11 footage.

You love watching the 92 Duke game? Ok.
