The issue is you have people like Wolken making almost definitive like, broad statements without any up to date medical knowledge of what we’re dealing with. Why not let the organizers and folks in charge of these events who have undoubtedly been consulting with medical professionals non stop around the clock make an educated decision based on medical data in regards to risk. I’m fairly certain these parties know more about the whole ordeal than Dan fng Wolken who started his basis because an Italian league soccer match was played without fans. That was Monday and now here’s where we are.

Instead we have paper tiger journalists behind a keyboard acting like they have more hard & fast intelligence than those who are paid professionals to make these decisions.

Shorts.....

- still sticking with my game plan -- not significantly concerned about health outcomes in the us, but rather the disruption of the global supply chain and its effects on the economy.
- i'm probably going to have to cancel the 113th annual running of a local road race next weekend, which sucks. my non profit running group has a substantial money in the bank, and the risk of lawsuit is much greater than the risk of infection, imo.
- sitting on a very nice pile of cash, mostly left over from my severance. i'm not one to time the market, but damn. really would like to go all in at some point.
- i'm not one to throw blame around at all, as there's too many moving parts to put this on the shoulders of just a few people. but i'll be damned if i'll let someone in a position of power say or do something incredibly stupid without making fun of them and calling out their lies, bs, and stupidity.
- still heading to nashville, and looking forward to a very strange sec tourney.
- getting into a game with "no fans" would be cool for about 5 minutes, after which point it would suck to be in a boring, empty, huge gym.
- staying at home and wacking -- still safe. whew.

Boy there was so much shaming going on with Hoiberg last night. I'm sure no one is coming back to change their take on him.

So when will it be OK to start **** back up? Who is arbiter on this?

In the rush to to close/cancel Businesses are going to shut down. Schools are going to close. Which are going to have a major hardship on parents then that will result in many people losing their jobs. We are looking at the worst economic disaster in the US since the Great Depression.

How touching dumb are you. Seriously. Touching idiot. I’ll stand by everything I’ve said. Not taking back ****.

Since we're all going to die soon anyway, I tried Wendy's breakfast this morning.

I told the dude to just pick something for me since I had never had their breakfast. He went with the #7. It was a sandwich that was basically on a hamburger bun with egg, sausage that looked like one of their square burgers, bacon and cheese. Pretty good, actually. Can see it being excellent on a hungover Sunday morning driving home from Lexington after a night game.

The potatoes were the star for me. Fantastic.

If you like McD's coffee, you'll like Wendy's. I don't.

I had typed out a point by-point-by explanation of why every thought of his was stupid. But then I remembered he is dumb as hell, and it’s not worth it.

We are surrounded by these schlubs and I’m assuming he’s a normal, seemingly smart and respected person in real life. But he is an stone-cold moron, obviously.

Stop being morons, morons. Let the adults and scientists that have kept you and your loved ones alive and prosperous your whole life - without you realizing it- take this one without your input. Chrissake.
K. We get it. Congrats on being right. Also completely acceptable to change your opinions as it becomes more real in your life. We've been told the world is ending every day by the news for decades. So understandable the general population is a bit skeptical. The (predicted) 3 month quarantine is going to have a lasting effect far beyond overloading medical facilities.

Looks like the spring game will be the next casualty.

Not that you can get a whole lot from that scrimmage, but I really dig a few hours of live UK football on my TV screen in April.

Sucks. F'ing China.

Wendy's Breakfast = 2019/20 Tarheel basketball season. Had it last week and wasn't impressed, will stick with the McDs.

Hopefully they can move it back to Friday so it'll be televised.

Lawsuit over what?...potentially catching a virus like the flu that people recover from? You going to make people participate and have them run thru a coronavirus spray wash?
