Kentucky is 48% from three on the road and 27 % at home. How is that even possible?? I think it bodes well in the tournament.

The sample size is too big for this not to mean something. Very odd. Maybe we should practice at RUPP every now and then. Maybe.
Rupp is much larger than these other places so depth perception is much differentBut we don't practice at these road arenas either. We shoot around just like we do at Rupp. Very weird. I just think the players are more focused for road games.
Do we think that since they practice in the Craft center and play games in Rupp that has everything to do with the discrepancy in 3 point shooting %?
Doesn’t seem to bother other teams.Rupp is much larger than these other places so depth perception is much different
they play at rupp more than any road game. You would think they would be used to it by now.
I think these guys enjoy the hate they get from the competition.
Quickley has shot 100 threes, and about same amoutn at home and at away. He has 20+% diferential...that's weird as hell.
Take away the 2 Vegas games and I bet it's even higher.
Too small of a sample size. Plus those neutral court games were all in 2019. Kentucky was just a shell of it’s current self back then. The bad news: In the 3 neutral court games we’re 15/58. 26% :scream:
I dint know what other teams percentage of made threes against us is this year. All I know is we would shoot better if we practiced in Rupp.Doesn’t seem to bother other teams.

I think that might be 30-40% . I think another 20-30 % is that they don't practice in Rupp and so they only see those rims maybe what 15-20 times a year and while that bothers some teams more then others it bothered ours. and I think the last 20-30% is a simple self fulfilling prophecy in which we didn't shoot well the first 4-5 times and we started to know we would make them on the road and miss them at home and thus did.I think this discrepancy is 100% due to focus. At home they are kicking it with their buds before and after games and are too relaxed. But on the road it's just basketball and business, and they are just a team that needs that edge and focus. It's the same reason they can't hold a lead after a certain amount of points. They pull ahead when they are focused and a little nervous. But the minute they have a big enough lead to feel comfortable, they relax and take plays off, and bang...a lead is squandered.
