I’m a f*cking idiot for letting myself believe in this team, even for a moment. Those ******** sucked me in the last couple weeks and just took a giant dump on my chest.

I guess it’s better to be 100% certain we aren’t doing **** in the tournament than to win out, get upset immediately, and want to kill myself for several weeks after.

We do what we do and play who we play with zero adjustment.

Whenever Cal pipes off about not watching tape on teams and worrying about what we do I always assumed it to be coach speak for "I got the dudes, do you?". Now, I believe him. The best we've looked this year was when he was unable to coach in a locker room and Hagans was sitting on the bench. Kenny was cool with the kids, we mixed up defenses and our offense utilized it's strengths. Cal doesn't want the blame of the Evansville loss (I don't give a **** who was or wasn't playing, our walk-ons would compete for starting spots there) but he damn sure wants the credit when we work our way out of the mire he creates and I've had enough of it.

And god forbid we get the refs in a room this offseason and ask them if their wives promised to fellate them the same way they fellate their GD whistles in the SEC. Stop bogging down games with your horseshit touch foul-flopping ********.

"We tried different ways to score."

Ok, John.

Whatever you say. We have 2 offensive sets.
Guard drives into defender in paint - Turnover
Guard throws half-assed pass into the post - Pray the hookshot goes in

This team isn’t enigmatic, sadly. It’s pretty clear who they are.

They're a mirror image of JVC. Cocky over what happened in the past, unwilling to change habits and scared shitless when it gets tight. What sucks is we have the components for a perfect run in March in what has to be the most down year in college ball. Two great guards who can hit FT's, a big who had played extremely well until the local YMCA baller stole his Air Force One's and decent upperclassmen leadership throughout.

It's a disservice that we will lose to BYU in the sweet 16 because we lead by 10 with 8 minutes to go and decided that dribbling a hole five feet behind the 3 pt line is > attempting to run offense.

/end rant, going to bed

Sorry GYERO.

This roster thinks that because they play for Kentucky it's their birthright to show up, get theirs, and leave for the NBA.

There's zero pride on that roster.

I am really, really bad at handling losses. Laying in bed with the lights out, SEETHING.

UK basketball simply is not healthy for me (or most of you I assume)

This kind of **** is why I think I enjoy UK football more these days. Plucky underdog grinding our way up the ladder versus high expectations and flaming out in infuriating fashion.

With basketball, it’s almost all downside emotionally, unless we make a Final Four. I mean, I enjoy normal wins, but it pales in comparison to how GD angry I get when we lose.

Again, very unhealthy, and I should probably seek help.

Let's be clear, we did not lose the game because of the Rupp crowd and not because we needed a loss. Let's put the responsibility on who really deserves it.

Pretty much. Just popped a SNUS, and probably about to drive to the Columbus casino and play pissed off blackjack to exacerbate my anger.

I pledge to not ***** one bit about our seed this year after that loss.
The brackets in the last two NCAA-Ts opened up for us like Moses parting the Red f*cking Sea. No chance it happens 3 years in a row.

I mean, we couldn't make a FF in the last 2 years when all we needed to do was beat two total Power-5 schools (traditional blue-bloods, Auburn and K-State [laughing]) without their best players.........

Per KSR callers on the post game, Hagans point refused to go back into the game (sounds like it was probably when we had the big lead?) and Cal told him “go in or to the locker room” and Hagans replied “why, so you can take me back out?”

Wish he would’ve chosen the locker room option.

At this point start
Maxey
Quickley
Brooks or Juzang
EJ
Nick

Can't be any worse rebounding wise.

It's March and I still don't know what the best lineup is.

It could be worse. You could’ve had to watch it on delay and just finished it at 1:30.

Touch me.

Nick and Quick were Both terrible tonight. We can’t afford that.

We got outhustled for every loose ball.

Embarrassing.

I’m not sleeping tonight.

We had been winning, but we haven’t been playing like a top team. If you can’t blow out lesser teams, you’re going to find yourself in tussles with them. Tennessee @Rupp is likely an easier matchup than we’d get in the NCAA tournament. If we struggle to blowout teams of that caliber at Rupp, I can’t help but think we’d be prime upset material in the first round of the tournament

Those callers were accurate. The UK strength coach even appeared to get into it with Ashton at one point. I don't know what was going on. Maybe something in his personal life. We always hear "They're not robots," and that's true, but tonight was just bizarre. Cal was "off," too. Completely unhinged at times. He micromanaged, screamed at everyone (even his assistants) and had all the players generally confused. Players were pointing fingers at each other. Just nothing like what we've seen from these guys all year. I was sitting about 10 feet from all of it. It was a Twilight Zone half of basketball.

This is March!

As of right now, not a single player posted anything on Instagram, pictures or stories, since before the game. That's completely unheard of all season, even after losses. Kind of weird.
Sounds like a players only meeting occurred.

DRIVE 4 9 is back on!!!!!!

Learned new Cal and fell asleep after the game. Don't get fired up as much. Cal is living off his reputation. No fight, no fire and clearly no fvcks about anything but being Cal.

Players first was great for coming from one of the shittiest coaches in the history of CBB. Players first to get Hagans drafted when the obvious tweak would be taking the GD ball out of his hands and putting it in Maxey's control is insanity.
