It's weird that President and Wal-Mart greeter are the only jobs where people are like "I don't care, but the one thing I do know is he's gotta be at least in his mid-to-late sixties. Mid-forties? GTFO with that newborn baby-*** b*tch."

May have mentioned this at the time, but I can't remember, and I'm 40 now, so f*ck you get off my lawn.

I played golf last summer with one of Evansville's assistant coaches, and he said the coaches played pick up a lot with the players, and the coaches smoked them consistently. Obviously, McCarty was a wildcard, but still, it's preposterous that the coaches were routinely beating the players in pick up at a Division 1 school.

After they beat us I figured he had been exaggerating. After seeing their record at the end of the year, apparently not.

Can't remember a year where the top 8 seeds seemed so meh. Kansas is clearly the best of them, but of the other 7 teams ahead of us, I don't see any that I particularly want to avoid.

Bracket Matrix has us at #11, behind those 8 teams, Creighton and Duke :)rolleyes:).

WIDE *** OPEN.

KIDS SAY THE GOTDAMNEDEST THINGS:

My oldest kid, at dinner, unprompted -

"So what's Caillou's deal? Does he have cancer?"

Lord help me, I tried not to laugh. I really did.
I’m thankful my kids have aged beyond the point of children’s programming channels.

I do however remember Calliou. I also remember I always thought I’d smack the s***t out of the whinny brat if he was my son.

Night tornado in Nashville. Looks like a lot of damage from pictures already making the rounds. Hope it wasn't as bad as it looks.

The nostalgia boomerang is fast as hell now. My kids love Callilou and Elmo memes the same way we chuckle at 80s/90s callbacks.

* If you're in a great mood, probably don't watch The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez on Netflix. Not sure how those two people make it to the end of their natural lives.

Went for a little jog last night, and randomly bumped into one of the lassie and I's frienemies......broken down on the side of the road waiting for triple-A to come tow her brand new Range Rover. :joy:

My 2008 Camry works, for the record.

-Was getting concerned about my little brother (who lives in Nashville), as anyone who knows him know he doesn't miss an hour of social media updating, especially if something major is going on. He went dark last night after about 9pm, and then, it took him 3 hours to respond to texts/calls this morning. Thankfully, all is well.

PTI(pti)'s old lassie's neighborhood of Germantown looks to have been destroyed, though. Curious for the GYERO locals updates -- some of those pics/videos are pretty wild.

-Came home yesterday and there was a weird thing on my sidewalk trotting up to my porch as I came up my driveway. Finally get up there & it's a touching Peacock, literally standing at my front door. When I approached him he ran to the corner of my yard, before eventually hopping up on my fence to chill for awhile. Pretty random & cool, thing was beautiful. We have horses, pigs, chickens, and everything in between on our street, but first time i've seen that little rascal. #Fairdale

-I watched the trailer and read the bio for that Gabriel Doc, and decided against it...just sounds miserable.

-I absolutely *worship* the look of a Range Rover, always have. Why are they such noted pieces of ****? What does all the money they make go towards, if not the actual quality/reliability of the vehicle? Seems like the ultimate vanity ride, imo.

-9pm tip :chairshot:

-Speaking of MailChimp, about time for a new season of Serial, no? Feel like they're really under the gun on this one after the last 2 letdowns, although I guess I did enjoy Season 3 overall.

-Lol at my man Snacks - didn't even bother heading to the other end.

I met a guy recently who is a "Land Rover" mechanic. Only works on one make of car and seems to have more business than he can even take on. I dont understand it either. Hell I think its a couple hundred just to change the oil. That said If money was no thing It would be hard for me not to buy one.

SUPER TUESDAY!

Watched the Barkley Marathon documentary yesterday. A 100 mile trail course in TN that started in the mid 80's, and only like a dozen people have finished it. Pretty wild, and looks absolutely miserable, obviously. Good documentary though.

From what I understand, the engine requirements to meet US emission standards as an import really mess with them.

The Brits aren't known as master craftsmen, especially when it comes to automobiles. See spontaneously combusting Jaguars

That Nashville tornado was pretty wild considering it was: basically right downtown, right next to and went over a large body of water, and in the Winter.

Those things all seem pretty rare and it had all of them.
