I was pretty cynical about Wiseman and the $11K he was supposed to pay

I figured the money would just show up and the NCAA wouldn't want to notice where it came from, he'd get to play and things just move on UNC style.

But he really was on the hook for it, and it ruined his college career

I actually feel for the kid. $11K is nothing for a struggling family to better themselves - but at the same time, it might as well be a million dollars they are asking them to pay back. There has to be a better way than what we are seeing.
