We may just win the tournament. Then again, we may just lose.

Gyero is like the tarot card reader on the way to Nicholasville without the happy ending.

You know why I like this team.......

1- There isn’t a style of play we can’t go against. You want to slow it down and muck it up, we do to. You want to speed us up.......let’s see it.

2- Because of #1 there is only a team or 2 that as long as we don’t see them until the E8 or later where it’s a coin flip regardless, then I’m cool because I also do not see this group letting pressure get to us. In fact I see Maxey shining in the moment which makes us even better.

3- We are seeding up with every game. Regardless if it’s ugly, we are winning and if we get to a 2 seed somehow then matchups are taken out of the equation until the S16.

I mean I like a lot about our team. Love IQ. I just don’t trust Hagans at all. I can’t get it out of my head.

I think we have a good press offense during the normal course of the game. I actually like when teams press us but for some reason the last 2 minute press is kryptonite.

MARK POPE.

Just went 2 for 1 at the end of the half (which is AWESOME because so many dumb college coaches can’t figure out such a simple concept) and is up 8 at halftime against the presumptive #1 team in the country, Gonzaga.

I’m watching you, Mark Pope.

EDIT: I’m sure they’ll lose, but that’s not the point. Dude has a bunch of virgin honks playing like a top 10 team in the country.

EDIT EDIT: BYU won. Very impressive showing, Mark.

The last 2-3 minutes of of the past two games gave me flashbacks to the’84 Georgetown game. So yeah Cal, let’s try to get an inbound play put together.

^Well, somebody has to fill the four #1 spots. They can't just leave 'em blank, despite what I suggested weeks ago about them doing just that.

Fury is a GD animal. Some sort of hybrid man-bear beast. He looks like a disgusting fat body, but then has a seemingly 12 foot reach and hands made of cement.

He looks exactly like the kind of guy that would get charged with manslaughter for accidentally murdering someone in a bar fight with one punch.

* How in the hell is there a pro boxer named Tyson Fury who is white? Weird.

* This team simultaneously sucks and is on a tear. Like strokin, I don't trust them but everybody else sucks too so we shall see.

* Things I never thought I'd say during a game:

Get the effing ball to Nick Richards!

You know, Quickley's haircut isn't that bad!

I hope they foul us!

We are through the looking glass, folks.

Had a blast at the game. Good win. Confidence is foolishly welling.

Post game at Pies and Pints. Pretty, pretty good.

Tyson Fury, wow. What an absolutely dominating performance. That fight was over in the third round. After the first knockdown Wilder looked demoralized. His corner was smart to throw in the towel, kind of surprised he stayed on his feet as long as he did. He was just getting mauled.

I bet Fury celebrated with a big steak.

Fury boxed him to death in the first fight but didnt really hurt Wilder that much. Last night he landed almost everything it seemed. WIlder seemed wobbly after that blow to his ear- like he had instant vertigo or something... then he could only block punches with his face.

The most obvious quote came from someone in his corner when he asked them why they threw in the towel... "You got blood coming out your f***ing ear"

First game in person this year. It's striking how much EJ kills us on offense. Teams essentially ignore him when he drifts out becuase he cant shoot or dribble, which horribly clogs the lane. If he's in/near the paint, it makes it impissible for Richards to operate (easy double or triple teams) and no space for guards to drive. It's so clogged we cant even feed the post, especially if Hagans is the one trying to feed it since they can back so much off him. This is all made worse as Cal insists on having Richards/EJ in at the same time.

And Maxey cant shoot worth sht, so that doesn't help.

Finished up Ragnarok on Netflix, kinda like Norwegian Twilight, but not bad.

Giving Bad Blood a look now.

My favorite is when they start making predictions game by game and picking a champion based on Lunardi's bracket.

Lunardi is only good at picking the teams that get in, which nearly anyone who pays attention could do at a reasonable percentage. He's terrible at the actual seeding and placing.
