I realize there are people that like DMB and there are people that like Country music. I, for one, hate both and wouldn’t attend if they offered free weed, acid and $500. Yes, I know that on acid most people wouldn’t know who’s playing but I promise you I would and it would ruin a good trip.
But to each their own!

Mighty Lemon Drops, in any venue or circumstance, is indescribably awful.

Terrible, terrible music. Just bad all the way around.

Before we had per diem at work and were paid for our business travel with receipts. We had a purchasing guy with a receipt printer get caught making fake O'Charley's receipts after suppliers had taken him out to dinner. He got caught because he spelled it O'Charlie's on his fake receipts.
There was some construction manager up here that was working full time for two contractors at the same time (each one thought he was off on site half the time - like a three’s company episode). He was also making up fake bids from subcontractors at both jobs to pad his bid spread, but then he was awarding the jobs to some of these fake bids and kicking the can to make his budgets work. He wasn’t caught until a few months down the line when the subs were being called to show up to do work and they didn’t have any idea about the jobs.

Sure it was a crazy scheme, but that guy must’ve loved the rush of lying about a hardware guy coming in with a smoking low bid and nailing his budget. Man.

Sounds eerily familiar. Construction is one of the shadiest industries where people can just bail and move on when from their financial responsibilities.

Sadly that guy probably got some project bonuses too.

The array of goofballs and self-important losers assembled on this stage in Las Vegas, begging to be called on like a bunch of pants-wetting 3rd graders, would have trouble holding their own in GYERO. Much less a national political ticket.

But great job. Great effort. Gang.

2020!
These are always unseemly. Keep in mind Trump defended the size of his hands by referencing the size of his dick in his primary, and that seemed to work out pretty well for him.

My observation was strictly as stated. If you assume anything beyond that, you're revealing your own insecurities and biases.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. How someone comes off when wrestling with a bunch of soon-to-be also-rans in a primary isn't necessarily an indicator that they can't win a general. That was your observation, and it's not correct. If you went back to watch the primary debates for the GOP in 2016 or the dems in 2008, you'll see the same begging for time, interrupting, dick-measuring, and grandstanding. It's pathetic every single time and then somebody ends up being president.

Some woman got run over and killed by a float in the Nyx Mardi Gras parade tonight. Canceled the 2nd half of it.

Only 5 more days and 21 parades left to go!

I remember laughing at the Republicans trotting Trump, Rubio, and Cruz up on stage. We live in weird times. The reality is that roughly half the country would vote for a turnip over Donald Trump, so I'm not entirely sure that these debates mean a ton, in the long run. Maybe I'm wrong. It happened once.

Not really, they put another uninspiring candidate like Hillary up there and they'll probably get similar results.

Hllary wasn't "uninspiring" - a large chunk of the country absolutely loathed/loathes her (and she still won the popular vote). I'm still not sure Trump would have beaten anyone else at the time. She was the best possible person for him to run against and it still took a borderline electoral miracle for it to happen.

People were saying the same exact thing about your team four years ago and we elected an ******* who wear orange face paint- so wouldn’t count any of them out yet.

But thanks for bringing politics in here again.

Good thing I’m busy the rest of the day.

Anyway- why is it a viral when a restaurant server shows their scrawny paycheck? Umm, no ****. That’s why people tip 20% in America. It’s our system. Thought everyone knew that.

I spent all of 2016 convinced Trump was a Clinton plant who ran in order to assure a Clinton victory. I’m just as convinced now that he wins be a significant electoral margin this year. So take that for what it’s worth, which isn’t much, I guess.

Anyway- who’s ready for some NFL Draft Combine talk?!?!?

No, they weren't saying the same thing, and the orange faced painted ******* has done more for you the last 3+ yrs as POTUS than at anytime in your life....so my suggestion would be just to say thank you and move along when politics come up in your precious thread.

If you don't like The Donald, then fine, but if you can honestly look at the clowns on that stage last night and support any of them to lead this country, or put it in a better position than it is now, then you're a complete buffoon.

Was just talking to a friend yesterday about Bernie compared to Trump at this stage of the 2016 process. Going to be interesting to watch how it unfolds but it does feel very similar.

I'm not a fan of Bernie, but I guess there is a generation of people in this country that believes - perhaps justifiably - they have been handed a big bag of **** by the Boomers and told to deal with it. He seems to be speaking to them and they are buying it, apparently. Or they are big fans of "Curb." One of the two. He's clearly touched a nerve, though (just like Trump), and folks would be wise not to dismiss him.

How many spots would a John Vincent coached team drop in the polls coming off a 25 point beat down to an unranked bubble team?

If we beat Florida AP voters wont have the balls to drop Duke lower than us.
