My wife and i were just talking about the size of their gym as well. Quite comparable to our highschool gym and our highschool only had about a total of 900 student bodies!
Im not impressed with the Zags thus far though. Not sure if their just "playing down to their competition" , but if not for the major size difference in the 4 and 5 positions this game would already be a blowout in favor of Pepperdine.

The seating capacity is 3104. I can recall years ago when Pepperdine was pretty good but they haven't been to the NCAAT since 2002.

No they're not. They play nobody for the last 2/3 of their season, they get soft, they lose. Year in year out , rinse and repeat.

Basketball needs to factor in conference and ooc opponent strength a lot more. Tired of seeing these schools get propped up in the rankings and seeding playing 3 months of cupcakes.

my old high school gym was easily 3 times that size. when I was in HS, it was the 2nd largest basketball arena in the entire state of Colorado. The Denver Rockets played some of their exhibition games there.

Saw that and wondered how they constantly play in those environments and get rewarded for dominating them. How many really good teams have they even played this year?
