I watched a lot of clips of Bobby Knights return to Bloomington yesterday, and F that old man in his ***. F him.

Still the same old bully. Dickie V tried to pull him in for a hug, and he pushed him away, followed by an ugly scowl. Of course Vitale laughed it off, but it didn’t look like a joke to me. He’s awful. What a terrible human being.

Bobby Knight is a terrible human being , hypocritical POS and IU is terrible for turning a blind eye to his years of physical and mental abuse of players and persons at the University so long as they were winning. Krazy, I really don't know how you " Knight>>>>Reed, Brand". Brand had to build a paper trail to fire him, that's just Management 101. As far as Reed this was a kid who was bullied and abused and when he decided to transfer and said that Knight choked him, Knight, officials at IU, and Bobby's gang of sycophants set out to destroy a 20- year old kid. Maybe he wasn't " tough enough " to take it but most people don't he ever recovered and he's dead now so I think that's areally, really bad take

 Jesus Christ, I had no idea Neil Reed died of a massive heart attack at age 36. That's the kind of **** that I hate hearing about. Gonna go eat a salad or hit the gym now, see ya.

He majored in theater at Northwestern so sometimes I think he could be some modern day Andy Kaufman performance artist. It’s hard to believe someone could be that nerdy with such poor social awareness.

It’s all about the brand and trending. It’s real and it’s spectacular.

Rack this. Their fan base still embodies his ******* bully ways. IU fan is the worse than UL fan in terms of delusion, and it’s not even close.

Knight doing that **** to Vitale wasn’t cute at all. It was pretty sad actually.

Just saw in the XFL game that Jim Herrmann is New York’s DC. Isn’t he herrmdawg’s brother or cousin or some relation?

Over my Renegades.

only a few teams so better get in on it early on picking what team you have been a die hard fan your entire life. I’m going with the Mumme/Stoops combo, and 3 UK players on team.

Tampa was hard to pass up with Jerry Glanville on staff.

- Who are these people who GAF about the Oscars? Not sure I’m friends with any of them.

- Pretentious, phony horseshit like Carey going over to shake Roy’s hand after fouling out is a big reason I loathe both of those programs.

- Really looking forward to the “High Fidelity” reboot on Hulu. Hope they don’t F it up. I do enjoy me some Zoe Kravitz.

- Has Hagans sucked for the last month? Absolutely. Could Hagans inexplicably go on a 6-game heater, playing lights out in March? Absolutely.

- Quick’s decision making on both ends is why he’s our best guard and arguably best player. I’d give the nod ever so slightly to Richards.

BTW- if you haven’t watched “Don’t F with Cats” docuseries on Netflix, do yourself a favor and check it out. Absolutely insane.

The ending nearly ruined it for me. No *****, me watching a documentary 7 years after the fact is not part of the problem. You being an obsessive weirdo and being Luka's core audience may have been part of the problem but don't put your guilty conscience on me.

-watched jojo rabbit this wkend. Highly recommend. Really like that taika waititi fella. What we do in the shadows is fantastic as well.

-man, tennesee is the floppingist bunch of c**nts ive seen in a minute. Really happy UK put them away.

-turntable is fun. Digital is convenient...but there is something to "touching" your music.

-fennel seed is my go to spice of late.

-cooked some wild caught Alaskan sea bass/halibut friday night. I outdid myself.

-beef stew yesterday. Rarely use them when i cook...but bernard clayton's complete book of soups and stews is a great collection of recipes.

-Hagans importance is diminishing by game. Team isn't as bothered by his flaws as they once were. Early season if he has a 10pt, 3 assist, 5 turnover game we 100% of the time lose. He played like dogshit, again, and we controlled the entire game. Seem to be splitting the focus b/w Maxey and Quickley. I love using Quickley as the closer, basically getting a bucket or a foul 12/13 possessions vs UT.

-Consistency is still an issue but at least 1 of the Juzang, Montgomery, Brooks, Sestina group is giving us something each night.

-Still hard to process that "Mr Brightside" is this generation's "Don't Stop Believing".

-
I don't mind obnoxious or gritty players as long as they're actually players. Noah, Walsh, Slay, Williams, etc. However, if you're whole game is to be a flopping/flailing ***** then GTFO. No time for that nonsense and whining every single call. Thankfully the refs weren't buying it the 2nd half.

-XFL has some cool ideas but they have to do something about the offenses. Felt like a bunch of hype for 12p Big Ten CFB games. Love hearing the player/coach interactions and NFL should 100% adopt the camera in the replay official booth.

-Enjoyed Timothy Failure: Mistakes Were Made. Real Dads, it's worth a watch.

-Props to Michter's and Evan Williams Main St distilleries for having bottles you don't normally find on the shelves and serving unique stuff during the tastings. The new Michter's on Main is unbelievable.

  • Starting to get sad about Nick and Quick inevitably going pro this summer. The old school maturation with the coming of fruition in the junior/senior seasons would have been great to see. Nick could be all-world next year and Quick could avg like 18 per game. Can't we get lucky and have one guy come back for an extra year?
  • Switched to vodka and soda with a lime as my go-to cocktail. That's called zigging when you bourbon heads are zagging.
  • Getting rolling with Vince Guaraldi Trio's (yes, the Charlie Brown composer) "Jazz Impressions of Black Orpheus" album this week. Nice background music for getting some work done. "Alma-Ville" and "Cast Your Fate into the Wind" are two of the better tracks.
  • Masters in less than 60 days; same for Spring Break

HAMDOMS:

(1) Had gum graft surgery on Friday because I brushed my teeth too hard or whatever. It sucked! Was given a really great sedative beforehand doh. I can only eat on one side of my mouth and feel like a dog eating peanut butter whenever I try to chew something.

(2) Pretty cool living in GD Portland or Seattle or whatever now. Climate change (FAKE NEWS) has turned Kentucky into the Pacific Northwest. GFY rain.

(3) Damion Lillard is pretty incredible. Stayed up late last night watching him torch the Heat.

(4) Can't drink for a month because of my surgery. Horseshit. It's not like I had surgery on my stupid useless liver.

(5) "Joe Pera Talks With You" is low key the most amazing, inspirational show on TV. Highly recommended.

I think Quickley’s SUPER religious family could be ok with him staying in college a couple more years. His father was apprehensive about him just playing college basketball because he though it would hurt his faith.

If Quick & EJ leave, we will suck yet again.

Also, are we not recruiting a backup PG or what?

The most religious my father ever got around me was him repeatedly just using the Lord's name in vain.

The Dont Eff with Cats documentary didnt showcase a group of sharp online detectives that solved a crime, it showed a bunch of people that gave a lunatic an audience to move on from being a regular psycho to a psycho killer (Qu'est-ce que c'est).

Hal Mumme once upon a time beat Alabama, went into Tiger Stadium and beat LSU, took UK to the Outback Bowl... and now he's the OC for the Dallas Renegades. What a career arc going from SEC to SE Louisiana, McMurry University, Belhaven Uni, and now the XFL.

Homeland started its final season last night... the show got pretty awful over the last couple seasons- maybe just last season, but i'm an OG viewer and feel like I have to watch at this point. The episode last night was as meh as it could have been.
