I thought it was pretty evenly called, some missed stuff and bad stuff both ways but actually pretty good all game. Until when it mattered in OT, LOL.

UNC missed a lot of free throws or it would not have been OT. But two bad calls put Duke over the top. No Road games for Duke as far as calls go. Much different feel for UK on the road.
This is what chaps my _ss!! We NEVER get the kind of calls in those last 16 seconds that the RATFACE’S TEAM GOT!!!

Then to listen to the ESPN crew lavish praise on both teams for this HORRIBLE GAME made it even worse!

It's why I don't watch their games. It's never evenly called and if there's a questionable call, it will go their way.
I don't respect anything about their program. I don't regard their coach as anything, their players, or their school. A lot of it is tainted and recently they have blatantly bought players through brokers and gotten kids qualified that would have not been anywhere else.
It's a fake program propped up by the likes of ESPN, Bilas, and Vitale because they all worship at the altar of the fraud.

I HATE UNC, but why does Duke ALWAYS get the whistle their way?!!!!

It makes me SICK!!

How in the world can you review the inbounds pass to Platek and not see that (1) He got fouled from behind (I know that's not reviewable) and then (2) defy the laws of physics and have Moore hit the ball out of his hands and it be off Platek (UNC)? How does that happen? Only one team in all of college basketball would be so fortunate as to get that call, then see them get another fortunate, undeserved call for a foul on the last drive (Jones). In fact, Duke got every call there was to make down the stretch in both regulation and the overtime. Leaves me thinking that there really is some fixing going on, and this was supposed to be a veteran crew. How does TV Ted not see the ball hit out of the guy's hands to go out of bounds? Wow! Yes, same force of nature last year against UCF--clearly a Zion push off to get the rebound and score was the only way for Duke to win. How many other very lucky plays did they make to advance to the regional final? It took many, and that's what they got.

Others need to take note of the lessons they can learn--in the waning moments of the game, Duke's philosophy is to do anything--foul, cheat, trip, whatever it takes...to win. This is war and winning at all costs is how they view it. Gotta give them credit for that mindset--they do not like to lose (I see many kids these days who don't mind losing), and beyond just drawing up plays and coaching players individually, that's probably Coach K's biggest asset, imparting the will to survive and win in overcoming insurmountable odds.

Carolina had a horrendous final 20.6 seconds in overtime, up five at 96-91, but we should have known the refs would bail them out if they could, and they did. Shame on Ted Valentine for not having the guts to overturn the inbounds play decision.

Coach K has a horse shoe stuck up his rear end. Sometimes it floats too far up, they lose and he has to miss with “back problems”. Eventually they pull it back down and they start catching all the breaks again.

Has to be.....

More than a horshoe. Most likely has dirt on the refs or there's $$ exchanging hands

When these two play, I always root for the visitor. The tears are sweet nectar.

The amazing thing is that Duke ever loses a game in view of the calls they get

I mean UNC was horrible from the line, below 50% I think. If they just shoot 70% they probably win by 12. When it got close at the end the refs figured it's close enough to pull this out for Dook. That was a foul at the end. That white kid caught it and got hammered and they give the ball to Dook. It was bad cheating and in UNCheat's own building. Another classic they will say, but I saw a very weak Dook team that couldn't stop anything inside and was very lucky that UNC is the worst FT shooting team in the country, at least this week. BC beat UNC at UNC recently with Cole Anthony. UNC sucks and Dook looked very vulnerable tonight. There are 2 other good teams in the ACC and U6 already beat them. I bet FLST beats them Monday. All Dook is doing is beating a horrible ACC and losing when they play good teams. They should have lost tonight 1000% but the refs were criminal. Dook didn't even look like a Top 16 team tonight, rivalry or not they just looked weak.

The fact that UNC was even in it and actually got robbed is amazing with Anthony throwing up all those wild shots and airballs playing hero ball. And we think Maxey plays out of control OMG Anthony is ridiculous. I saw 2 bad teams going at it tonight and the refs bailed one out. Dook is not that good. After FLST beats them at home Monday they will have a loss to the only other good teams in the ACC, FLST, and U6 who they only have to play once and both at home. I would love to play Dook with a fair whistle. They looked like little bitches inside tonight and when their 3s aren't going down they will in the Tourney.

Carolina got screwed when their player was clearly and blatantly fouled. To top it off the ball appeared to go off Duke and they still got the ball. Getting calls in the freaking Dean Dome like that is insane.

I used to take Duke getting all the favorable calls as overblown. Likewise about us getting screwed by refs home and away. I truly can't believe I was ever that naive a person. It has gotten so blatant and so mind bogglingly out in the open it that it is killing the game. For the first time in prob a decade I purposely didn't watch a game, MSU after the Auburn fiasco. Just seeing Duke get that call and ball is disgusting.
