At UT is mental. For Cal especially. He seems to lose his mind at Knoxville and Columbia SC.

Our advantage over these teams are team speed, talent, and usually athleticism. The ONLY WAY these lesser talented teams have a chance to beat UK is to slow the tempo, get into a halfcourt grind it out slugfest, and depend on the refs for a favorable whistle. It usually happens for them at Knoxville.

Unfortunately, for whatever reason, we always seem to play right into their hands by also slowing down the tempo and attempting to grind it out on offense in a halfcourt throw down.

This totally neutralizes our advantages over these teams.

Cal needs to speed the game up, press, and fast break to take advantage of our better talent.

For some reason, he does the opposite when he plays at UT.

TBA has been a house of horrors for Calipari. He’s 3-6 overall down there and has lost 4 straight. The 2015 team was our last team to win in Knoxville.

UT will play hard. Need to match their intensity.

A loss Saturday would be a huge disappointment and to me would be an indicator of future failures.

Cmon man PS was a great woman she even sold cookies and other sweets for uniforms and washed the uniforms at her house she was a great coach maybe the best ever

UT averages 31% from 3 and has averaged 15 turnovers per game in the SEC. In the UT at BAMA game UT was lucky to get that win. UT shot only 22/62 for 35% FG and 2/18 from 3 for 11% and BAMA had 11/27 from 3 for 40% and outscored UT 63-46 until you hit the Free throw line. UT was 23/32 and Bama was 5/8 so UT outscored Bama 23-5 a +18 from the Free throw line. UT also had 15 turnovers vs. BAMA and UT has been averaging 15 turnovers since SEC play. UK needs to play consistent basketball, hit the boards, get the turnovers, avoid the Turnovers, Quickley knock some 3's down, and EJ & Richards play like Tuesday night and we can get out of Knoxville with a Win.

I don't see Tennessee winning the game this year. We just don't have the horses and we have a lot of injuries. But I also thought we would lose by 20+ at Alabama so what do I know.

UT can most certainly win. UK is inconsistent on defense and offense, especially shooting from the perimeter. The refs have also been enigmatic at away venues, so anything can happen. Hoping for a win....GBB!!

I just don't see Tennessee having the players to enforce their will upon us in a half court tussle like they have over the last several years. I think cats can win by double digits and feast upon nasty orange stuff.
