- No offense but coming off a throwback bender weekend, the last thing I want to do is be at a bar with Willy and Boat on a Tuesday. Have fun, though.

I'm not going to have more than a beer or 2, myself. I'll be working past midnight again tonight. Been working like a mad man. 61 hours in the office last week.

But my friend Boat, who is a doctor, will be in town and, by gawd, I'm going to watch the game with him.

Hey man, how did you defend our country and freedom and stop a descent into socialism?

guy 1: I fought the socialist and communist parties in WW2

guy 2: I responded to widcatchad31’s post in the GYERO thread of the general discussion board of the Kentucky college basketball message board

Louisville has zero and I think it is all because of the UofL loving, liberal *** Mayor.

My biggest complaint with Fischer is his constant "we're a compassionate city" shtick. Makes us sound like a bunch of ***** bitches. He won't let it go either. You'd think after the murder rate spiked he'd move on to something else. I'd change it to we're "The Champ City" and get even more run from Ali.

Other than that the only thing I recall him doing is try to increase sales tax by like 15% (he called it a one cent tax increase) so that he could fund things like the Guitar Emporium. He couldn't get that through Frankfort however.

Really? Small world. Where do they live? I'm down toward Jamestown off of rte 5.

I believe it’s called Colonial Heritage? Big retirement community on a golf course.

Love that area. We always have a great time visiting. We were there for a week over Christmas.

Like 12 hours of sun and now 10 straight days of 40's and rain/snow. Congrats fat ankle winter balls. Eat it up because your time is almost up.

You are telling me MLS doesn’t help qualify a city as Major League despite MLS highlights and coverage basically nowhere to be found on cable/network tv?

And thousands of people here in Louisville will tell you our state of the art minor league soccer stadium & LOUISVILLE CITY FC will take this place into uncharted waters.

Found one for you, Wayne. Probably would fit best as a tramp stamp, if you don't already have one there.

No, but I am telling you that Louisville most certainly is not a major city.

That wouldn't work for a tramp stamp, Chase. Would look tight on my shoulder though. Plus it kinda looks like Ron "Tater Salad" White, of whom I'm also a fan, so it kills two birds with one stone.

The Bengals are going to turn down a Godfather offer from the Dolphins for Burrow -- like 3 #1st, and they're going to majorly regret it.

Ah, up in Lightfoot by the Pottery and BG (had to look it up). Beautiful up there. We've considered moving up the peninsula, but are too attached and settled here. Everything we need is within an hour. I'm glad you enjoy the area. It's hard not to have a great time, especially at Christmas. My grandparents used to love to visit from Lexington. I enjoyed visiting Kentucky, but haven't been back much since they passed away. Wow, didn't expect a local connection!
