I hate the loss. Yes, there was home court cooking but not enough to suggest Auburn didn't play better. Sorry but Pearl is a heck of a coach making do with lesser talent and has done so throughout his career. However, having said all of this, let's not forget that Kentucky blasted Auburn at Rupp last year and yet when it mattered the most Auburn then beat Kentucky in the tourney.
My point is as much as I hate this type of loss there is no reason to give up hope for this team entirely. I also agree with Cal that seeding this year holds minimal importance. In fact, it is not impossible we still don't win out in the SEC nor the SEC tourney. A away loss against a top SEC team is not the end of the world. Well not yet anyway.
