I hate the loss. Yes, there was home court cooking but not enough to suggest Auburn didn't play better. Sorry but Pearl is a heck of a coach making do with lesser talent and has done so throughout his career. However, having said all of this, let's not forget that Kentucky blasted Auburn at Rupp last year and yet when it mattered the most Auburn then beat Kentucky in the tourney.

My point is as much as I hate this type of loss there is no reason to give up hope for this team entirely. I also agree with Cal that seeding this year holds minimal importance. In fact, it is not impossible we still don't win out in the SEC nor the SEC tourney. A away loss against a top SEC team is not the end of the world. Well not yet anyway.

Not at all, UK has played 5 of their last 8 away from Rupp and 3 of the away games were v stiff comp and we ended the toughest stretch of the regular season at 6-2.

We have a good team that can still be great if they avoid the injury bug and keep improving.

Yeah, we used to be really bad at basketball. Like, probably THE WORST P5 team in the nation. Pretty amazing what Bruce Pearl has been able to do in just his sixth year at Auburn. He’s totally changed the culture. War Damn Bruce!

It would probably be the same thing as you guys winning four football games against Auburn. When I was at AU, you could walk up to any basketball game in the middle of the first half, get in for free, and sit anywhere you want to. Now we’ve got standing room tickets for SEC games going for $200. Just ridiculous what he’s done for the program.

He’s been busted for cheating every place he has been. And threw probably the 2nd or 3rd best player in the history of Auburn basketball under the bus to save his own self. Chuck Person!

Still not better than Kentucky your football program has been passed up by lsu and ole miss will probably pass you too with the kiffin hire

We don’t blow anyone out. And the SEC will be lucky to get 4 teams in the tourney this season. It sucked losing to you in the tournament last season and it’s so rare for a SEC team outside of UK to make a final four.

I’d sure love to play Auburn next year, Ohh wait, we do! We’ll see you then Pete! I don’t think you gave us nothing, he left Auburn because of them starting the legacy over him even though he’s better and came to Kentucky if I remember correctly! Can’t wait till we play. Have a good one

Not that hard to change the culture when you’re a convicted cheater and con artist. And it may not be over yet.
