Texas tech students

[Mulder14]

They are giving students free beer starting at 10:00 on Saturday. This will be a wild environment

[BlueBomb]

Yeah, there's no potential institutional liability there at all.

[BassProCat]

Might as well throw cocaine in the mix. Make it a grand ole time.

We used to like to roll it with our smoke. Of course, we enjoyed it straight, with no chaser as well! [laughing]

So how many students get to imbibe? Unless they break the law probably only some jrs & srs will be old enough. They'll be a pretty sight. Stupidity abounds!

[Jazzycat]

Promoting Underage drinking is not cool. Could be interesting...

I need a link to believe this one. I call BS.

A blackout, in more than one way.

Kinda hard to believe a university would sanction something like that, lots of liability issues plus just a bad image for the school. But, hey, it's in Texas so who knows.

Lil Bro giving away strippers next season against us.

Might attend that game :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

[ManitouDan_anon]

[akaukswoosh]

Everybody’s Super Bowl.

[STL_Cat]

There is 0% chance the university is actually sanctioning or endorsing an event that gives free beer to students. No way.

[Backer cutter]

Everybody’s superbuzz

Ok, when you're wrong you're wrong but that may be the least well thought out thing ever.

Oh I agree. It’s not like they’re just giving a free beer out to those at the game. They’re starting a tailgate at 10 AM. Should be a blast ha.

Here is what could go wrong.

Chris Beard looks like a drunk in the photo at that link. In fact, he looks drunk. Red faced, alchy nose, beady eyes.

Somehow I don't think this is going to really happen.

[ZZBlueComet]

At Rupp, it's free Geritol

[HerrosHeroes]

Just pass out throwing stars and glass bottles too...

What can possibly go wrong?

UK better bring about six KHP with them because after we kick their asses they are going to be pissed.

[wildcat_bigd]

The game is at 6pm too, wow good luck with that crowd

[Backer cutter]

I can remember going to frat houses in college when they would have free beer hoping to pledge newcomers. Long ago i might add. But give a college guy unlimited free beer from a keg, and you better be prepared to deal with them after the keg runs dry, best i can remember, it’s not pretty.

Exactly.

[wildcat_bigd]

Dumbest concept ever, free alcohol to college students for a little bit but game starts at 6, now go fill your time up before the game

[HerrosHeroes]

Exactly.

And SC at least they charged a dime, this promo is free!!!

Well it is Texas

[anon_q409idbs5m40a]

Male cheerleaders could be the smartest guys on the court with scenery like that.

West Texas; home of rattlesnakes, red sand and miles and miles of nothing. However, I will say that the people there are very outgoing and friendly.

“Male cheerleaders could be the smartest “. Or dumbest, it’s all depending upon hygiene.
