-yep and it permeates the entire ideological spectrum.

-conspiracy theories make for good entertainment...and while i beleive that the state/big business doesn't neccesarily have people's best interests at heart, the level of crazy out there is astonishing.

-people are always looking for something "bigger" to explain bad things. The reality is the universe/nature is hostile and humans are selfish...that can explain pretty much everything. Except the moon landing...that **** is fake.

Tell that to Buzz Aldrin. He'll punch you in the jaw.

There were photos of training missions on Earth that were doctored and sent to the newspapers for promotional purposes but we totally went to the Moon.

I know.

It is just funny that some f***ery by NASA back in the day with media relations led to all sorts of insane theories. If the Ruskies had any wind that we faked the Moon landing, they would probably be in charge now and we'd be bitching on a Commodore 64 about why Ivan Calipariski can't recruit good forwards for the Oblast of Kentucky Wildcats.

Our 6 month old has been sick since he got the rotavirus vaccine last Friday, which isn’t crazy because it’s a live vaccine, so I asked a coworker how her 1 year did when she got it and she said she doesn’t vaccinate because of stuff like that.

My response was “um nevermind then”

Sure it sucked for a few days but the full strain of rotavirus kills baby, I think it’s an ok trade off.

Of all the things I could find out that would make me immediately lose respect for a person- being an anti-vaxxer is pretty high up there. Special kind of crazy.

Don’t be a dick. Your not a doctor or more importantly a medical statistician who understands correlation. There is a lot of evidence on the internet over the years that autism is caused by vaccines, and it’s pretty messed up that you equate people who want the best for their children with flat Earthers. I’m frankly sick of it, and wish people could respect Jenny McCarthy’s truth on this matter.

Rotavirus is a genus of double-stranded RNA viruses in the family Reoviridae. Rotaviruses are the most common cause of diarrhoeal disease among infants and young children. Nearly every child in the world is infected with a rotavirus at least once by the age of five.

^ Vaccinate for diarrhea. Sounds legit.

We vaccinate every year because we have kids and it’s the responsible thing to do. I however do not think it works because giving your body practice at fighting a strand of the flu doesn’t mean you’ll catch that strand.

I believe that exact same issue happened 2-3 years ago and only made the anti-vaxxers stronger in their stance.

Man, UNC isn’t just bad, they’re absolutely one of the worst P5 teams.

Hard to believe & bizarre to watch.

Currently down 21 to a Pitt team that is (other than a win over UNC) 1-4 in the ACC.

Almost feel guilty for enjoying this so much.

Almost.

(It does work, btw.)

-At this moment 6 ranked teams are playing and they're all losing.

It’s the responsible thing to do because kids are affected more severely, and I have 4 kids. Seems that would be clear, but one of my kids is Type 1 Diabetic and when he his sick his B/S runs sky high no matter how much insulin we give. In November he caught strep and we ran out of his prescription fighting his high B/S with a week to go before getting more.

We also have a 4 month old baby without an immune system.

Don’t think I need to go much further on that.

I don’t think it works because at best even when the vaccine matches the strand(or strain) it only carries a 60% effective(or successful) rate.

I’m no medical mind at all, but to me ingesting the flu in your body for slightly better than coin flip odds seems off. From ages 19-30(when I had my first kid) I never took a vaccine and never got the flu. From ages 30-40 I’ve taken the vaccine every year and will continue to do so yet I’ve not gotten the flu.

Back to basketball before Vern implodes - ohio state trending towards a very low seed or missing the tournament altogether. Unbelievable.

Not long now until we trot out Richards, EJ, Dragon/Brooks, Juzang and Hagans against an Arky team that pretty much plays 5 guards.
After the head shaking rotations against SC, forced pounding the ball inside against smaller players wouldn’t surprise me in the least today.

If a sports reporter tries to use stats to suggest EJ Montgomery is a good college basketball player, those stats are stupid.

Didn't Wenyen Gabriel at one point have the highest PER (or whatever wonky ******** stats dweebs create) back in the day?

Spare me.

The stats consistently show that those who get the vaccine have a 10% chance of contracting the flu compared to 20% of the non-vaccines population.

Glad the KSR pre-game is Ryan recapping the South Carolina game to snarky Meals who didn’t watch it.
Yeah, I'm kind of shocked they thought that was acceptable. Turned it off after about 5 minutes. If someone's gonna do a pre-game show they should probably have seen the last game. But these Kentucky fans care so much they'll accept anything, lol, so just do whatever.

Does krazy realize there are other vaccines besides the flu?
He definitely thinks you "ingest" vaccines, so who knows.

Watching Kerry Blackshear, he would’ve definitely helped us out in terms of offensive spacing... but he is not a dynamic player that would make us incredible juggernaut.
