Maybe they think that UL is a fraud therefore not giving UK credit they deserve for beating them.
Gonzaga gonna be #1 for rest of the season while they beat up on San Diego and Portland and Cruise to a 1 seed
Can’t lose to 2 crappy teams and expect to climb back into the top 10 in a week. Those 2 losses will make it where we have to win many more in a row to get back to the top of the polls.
Anyone who actually pays attention to this stuff expected us to fall in somewhere between 14-16
We won a game we were favored in at home. After losing two the previous week. And nobody really lost ahead of us.

Just keep winning and we’ll slowly climb. Utah and Evansville were really bad losses. Mich St and U6 were solid wins but not enough to completely offset those losses.
Ill take the 2 seed out West then.

I disagree. BYU and especially SMC are better this year than previous years. Gonzaga has 2 games against both in conference. Also Santa Clara, Pacific and San Francisco have teams capable of beating the Zags, especially on the road. I think they lose 3-4 conference games this year.
I’m betting Calipari is completely unbothered by this insignificant stuff.
Utah is no where near the L that Evansville was. Not even close plus we basically played them in their back yard.

I disagree, only because he made the comment on Saturday about us being an NIT team if we lose. That was most certainly directed at the media, as well as the LOD.

Utah is 108 in KenPom even after beating us. That was a really bad loss.

UK beat 2 legit top 10 teams in U of L and Michigan St.
I agree but the Utah loss was still embarrassing and quite harmful to the Cats ranking (obviously and even with Saturday’s win). Plenty of time to make up ground!
Duke inches up to 2. First time they beat Boston College or Miami on the road they'll jump Gonzaga because it'll be a gutty win on the road and a great coaching effort with such a young team. If they lose they'll stay at 2 because it was a tough road loss against a good team. College basketball and the media that covers it are the most corrupt organizations there is period.
Agreed. To earn a 2 seed you have to have 2 seed talent and I am not sure this Kentucky team has 2 seed talent. Hard to lose those 2 games Utah and especially Evansville at home and believe you have 2 seed talent. This team reminds me a lot of the teams that were in the 4/5 seed range for Kentucky in the past few years.
No they aren't . There are about 14-20 teams all about even . UL is one . UK is another . UL deserved to be ranked #3 and IMO are probably better then UK atm ( not that that crap matters as we beat them so they can suck it ) but UL is the best team we have played this year . Not OSU . BUT for some reason Nwora who is a top 10 player nationally can't do jack against us with how Cal draws up D on him . But make no mistake this is a damn good UL team who will come in 2nd to Duke in the ACC.
Not compared to Evansville who is 200 and we lost in Rupp wheras Utah game was in Nevada at 11:15 est.

I suspect Utah actually will end up a bubble team in the end as they have a few ballers . Not a good loss but it would be like losing to UGA or something this season. So lets not act like it was some horrible loss . we were favored by 9 I think . Not 24 like evansville.
