Exactly what I was thinking. No way that baseline ref thought the guy was anywhere near the arc. He just made his call and the other refs wanted it the other way.

This is correct....except they didn’t call the block due to the arc originally therefore it should have been no reviewable.

Plus it wasn't a blatant charge anyway. Borderline sure but to change a call in that situation based on very little evidence to do so reeks of corruption.

The defender doesn't have to be "set." That's a misconception many fans have.

It plainly was an offensive foul, but the ref screwed up the first call, apparently because he mistakenly thought the defender was inside the arc. Under the rules, you can review in that situation to see if it's inside or outside the arc. So the reversal was correct.

But it was still crappy officiating. That controversy never should've happened, as that was a clear call they shoud've gotten right without any need for review and reversal.

Just realize that when the game is on the line UK is getting screwed and everything will be ok.

It's an easy out for the officials screws us but it shouldn't have came down to that anyway. We deserved to lose they outplayed us all night.
