That's just a cop out for the fire Mullen crew. Yea he recruited them, but you can't blame every mistake that a player makes on the coach. You blaming a dropped pass on Mullen because he recruited the player that dropped the pass is the most ridiculous argument there is, and its just pushing an agenda.
And would you not say that some of the plays not being made is due to inexperience and youth as Philly said? We are about to shatter our all time yards per game average with a QB and receiving corp that will all be back next year. Yet people are complaining about our offensive coaching. It is frustrating that our 2nd half scoring is much less than our first half. I get that. But I have watched many drives where we have moved the ball in the second half and then one miscue kills the drive. A miscue in execution rather than in play calling. As I have said, I am not acquitting Dan of any wrongdoing here because obviously he shoulders the majority of the load, but from what I have seen from us this year we have a legitimate shot to be dang good next year. And that is a credit to what Dan has built. The schedule helps, as well, but I fully expect us to compete with A&M, Bama, and LSU next year (I'm not calling them wins). If that doesn't happen, Dan needs to go.
