Charlotte is a much better destination than Jacksonville if you're not staying at the beach. Downtown Jax is the worst big city I've ever visited. It's a ghost town.

I know people are into vinyl, but this is the first I’m hearing about cassette tape nostalgia. Got
an 8 track too?

Yeah, it’s probably superfluous, but they were the Rolls Royce of tape decks, I’m handy with fixing that sort of thing so I added it to the system.

(I actually DO have a vintage receiver with an 8 track, but it needs some work)

I speak into the air and various ladies-in-the-tubes play whatever I want to hear. But what do I know? I’m just a guy with **** to do who avoid tea service.

I get it if Bowden doesn't play, but it would put UK in a terrible spot.
  • Announce he isn't going to play -> Nobody buys tix for the game
  • Keep that a secret and he ends up not playing -> people are going to be pissed at you for keeping that a secret
I hope to God he's playing as I'm going to the game, and that will be a disaster if he's not in there.

Hell to the yes on this. Jacksonville is terrible. About the only redeeming quality is that it's close to St. Augustine, which is a really neat historical town.

I’m already sick and tired of people dogging Charlotte yet act like ZOMG NASHVILLE is the greatest destination city you could possibly imagine .

Good grief. Charlotte’s a nice town. Something different. It’s getting to the point where I’m hoping the city of NASHVILLE!!! burns down or something. The most overrated, over priced mediocre city in the entire US.

<————could not possibly give less of a **** about bowl payouts.

Unless it a classic bowl that retains its (at least in part) its original name: I really couldn't give a **** what bowl we make unless I am attending. I don't really give a **** if we win the Liberty Bowl Sponsored by BangBros.Com or whatever, either.

Getting the squad extra practices and, hopefully, some place warm to visit in the winter is good enough. Barnhart can worry about the payout and gift bags. I couldn't possibly care.

The Bangbros brand is a lot better than Belk.

There is no Grove St. in Nashville, both Jacksonville and Charlotte have a Grove St. It’s a party.

So we were all set for the Gator but UT stepped in and said they would rather play in the Gator instead of the Belk and we were like sure np go right ahead? Weird

Louisville caught the worst end of the deal. Overall Miss State is marginal at best but they boast the #15 rushing attack (Huge OL) in the country and have a NFL back (Tennessee rush offense near bottom of the country)

COME SEE ABOUT IT SCOTT

I'm sorry, but it's absolute horse **** how this transpired. You can't let another team change a bowl destination at the final hour. Tell them to pound sand.
The fact our AD is the biggest ***** in the business ensured we were losing this one.
What would you like him do, dumbass? We lost to them and finished 2 spots behind them in the standings?

Pretty simple, you want to get a bowl over UT? Get that 1 yard last month. Finishing 7-5 (3-5) you can't really tell the SEC officials to "pound sand."

VT is nobody to be scared of obviously but can’t be real thrilled with the matchup. VT has a top 25 rushing defense and Foster is one of the best DC in CFF, with almost a month to prepare. Meh

Tennessee picking what bowl game they want to is exactly how the group of six bowls work now, just like Auburn picked the Outback. Tennessee are bitches because they changed their mind last minute because of VOL TWITTER

UK and Florida both went 9-3 last year.

Florida got Fiesta
Kentucky got Citrus

* Went to NYC last week and sent a picture of the street signs at the intersection of 8th Ave. and 42nd St. to my wife with the caption "I think I thought I seen her" and she didn't get it. I've never been more disappointed in anyone ever.

* Bowden will play.

* UNC sucks.

* God Bless UT fans for giving us best bowl matchup ever: Cowbells vs. The Sheriff.

Virginia Tech announced 2 hours before UK that they were in the Belk Bowl. Sorry, if you put in a preference for a bowl, which UT did for Belk, you can't change it. Just because your fan base went ape **** over your preference, that's your problem.
Oh that's right Mitch shakes your family's hand when you see him, making you feel so important, that's why you suck him off. Sorry I had forgotten that.

UT was slated for MCB, not Belk. Your Blanding/Kirwan Security guard had the wrong inside info. Them changing their mind is actually our fault for losing to them and going 3-5 in the conference.

I'm just thankful we're not in Shreveport or Memphis.

It's very clear that most of you don't understand how the bowl system works. You hire an awesome AD that bullies, schmoozes, and fights his way into the best bowl his university can get. Negotiate harder, bro. That's how it works.

F'ing idiots.

- Look as much as Cal sucks, our team sucks and being a Kentucky basketball fan sucks- especially right now in the midst of this sucky era- we may well have a chance to finish the decade knocking off #1 and #2. That has to make any UK basketball fan (as much as it sucks to be one) a little thirsty. F errbody- I’ve awoken from my slumber and am getting ornery again.

- You can sell it anyway you like but hard to get excited about the Belk Bowl. That being said, pretty damn good followup to last year. And I think we’re legit next year during another year where the East is up for grabs. Keep knocking on that door, Piglet.

- I’m officially out on any and all special bourbon events. Shitshows. Jumped the shark.

- Still like drinking it.

- I’m going to enjoy the hell out of the season the next few weeks. Believe that. Best time of the year and I’m getting my money’s worth.

- Louisville meet-up for a January Saturday ballgame?

Bowden not playing would be the most off-brand decision for him ever. He’s going to play.

Count me in the group that’s much more excited for a NYE game against VA Tech than a January 2 game against Indiana. Not like we got the Sugar Bowl pulled out from under us. Matt Jones needs to take a break on Twitter. Goodness.
