I think I’ve crossed the rubicon when it comes to the Bengals. Snarky WHO DEY posts aside, I’ve stopped giving much of a ****. The reality is they suck. They’re not trying. And in 2026 when the PBS lease is up I think Mike Brown hands over control to his daughter who sells the team for close to a billion dollars and they move. So really they can draft whoever. Sign whoever. 7 years or so from now none of it will matter besides the empty stadium with about 50 years worth of payments left on it. They should set a record on Sunday for smallest crowd ever to see an NFL game since the merger and that’s what I’ll be looking for when I read any recap.

Cal mentioned this post game, but you could actually see some roles at least starting to be defined; dudes focusing on strengths & shooters shooting. First game where we seemed to have a clue as to what we were trying to do offensively at least....baby steps. Obviously, the most important part of all that is actually seeing some shots go in.

Most underrated super-annoying thing - someone types a snarky 1,000 word post and expects people to read it, while the author is incapable of correctly using a word as simple as "peek".
One of the underrated things about extended family Thanksgiving celebrations is you get unsolicited parenting advice from your 22 year old cousin with 3 kids 4 and under. Never mind the fact that she was in arrested for drug possession while she was pregnant with 2 of the 3 and was was not allowed to be with her children unsupervised while she was on house arrest.

She probably gives great advice, assuming you do the exact opposite.
I would just repeatedly counter with unsolicited advice to not “possess drugs” -and build it up as a real, novel “tip” each time.

- Haven't posted in a while, so way behind on this, but Piven was a solid show. Can tell he's still kind of perfecting his routine in spots, but very funny overall.
- Can't ask for much more than three convincing wins in three days for Wildcat fan, no matter the opponents.
- Pretty nervous about this Louisville game and just really badly want this win, especially don't want to lose to that bunch with a first-year coach. No idea what to expect.
- Swimmer figured out that we know each other outside GYERO due to us having some friends in common with a standing Friday afternoon happy hour we both sometimes join. Great guy.
- Frozen II with the whole family over the weekend. I actually liked it better than the first one. Those geniuses at (edit because I'm completely out of it) Disney just have it figured out, know how to keep the parents entertained, as well.
- I'll probably wear pants, a shirt, and some shoes to my family's Thanksgiving gathering. Maybe a jacket if it's chilly. Likely will eat some turkey, too.
- I'm not the NFL football I used to be, but there's still something about those Thanksgiving games every year that will never lose their luster for me. Laying around with family, eating too much, some cocktails and collides, and football on TV all day long. America.
- Got my Clark Griswold on yesterday and hung lights on the outside of the house for the first time ever. Won't be sending Lexington to the backup power grid or anything, just one tasteful string up the sides and along the gutter and roof line. Sore from going on the roof and up and down the ladder all afternoon, though.

At least she’s a parent. I’m eager for my single sister in law who sells art in Manhattan and lives alone to openly question our parenting skills. Always insightful!

BBdK, wcc and I talk about this regularly. If some of you parents would just get your act together, we wouldn’t have so much low hanging fruit to point out. I’ve successfully raised two purebred canines, so I know what tough parenting is all about.
