Picked up some Down Home at Total Wine on Sunday. Every time I go into that place I hear Gary Vaynerchuk in my head saying, "If you're going to spend $8-10 on a bottle of wine, spend the extra $5 and get the $13-15 bottle. The difference in quality is huge." That little toucher is the epitome of self-made billionaire on just hard work and hustle.

I, unfortunately, know (used to work with) the UK fan who got put on the pavement after the UT game that's gone viral on Twitter. Not sure where he works now, but he won't live that tweet down for a while. Hell, everybody at my workplace has seen it by now I think.

Peanut brittle is an underrated treat this time of year. Used to know an old man in Mount Sterling sell that stuff home made for his church around the holidays, and it was unreal.

Anniversary today. Cheers!

The house edge is the seller making secondary profit, while you pay above market per share for a 10% chance at winning.

That said, I'm 1-1. Got my ETL off a fireball last year.

Eh when you can always resell at that same price I don’t take it as much of a house edge. Unless you have access to bunkers of stuff at retail. Offer players 90% buyback, keep the 10% profit and repeat. Pain in the *** to ship and receive high volume, but I’ve had worse hobbies.

The peanut brittle they serve in section 26 of Kroger Field is touching delicious. Even better with a warm bourbon. Always over eat that stuff at games.

-Disney+ free trial started.

-Don't see the shaved eye brow Amish beard look very often. Obviously, for a good reason.

-That UT fan looked completely relaxed knocking the little dbag on the ground. Getting knocked out and a video going viral is pretty rough.

-Not real pleased with the frozen berries or early nights but I've always been a sucker for snow.

-Memphis really going to go all in for Wiseman? Man, this is going to be awesome. After the way they acted post UNC 2017, I may just drive to Beale St and setup shop when the **** hits the fan.

-Thompson to KU, have fun Cade.

-My 2 alma maters squaring off tonight. Evansville had some squads back in the day, man. RIP Roberts Stadium.

-I've got nothing for extreme temps of any variety...but a few of my friends' misery makes it all worth it when it's cold. Great night for a fire, a brown, and the kates.

-Also, duck boot szn

-Hagans is one of the more uncoventional ball handlers I can think of - he just doesn't dribble like anyone else. He's got an awkward gait, mixes long/short strides...he's just weird and it's an advantage for him b/c defenders just don't know how to read it. He's been a little aggressive/loose in traffic, but he's improved a **** ton in that regard...last year he was shaky AF. Great crossover, hesitation, and inside-out (that one last game was nasty).

-Peaky Blinders season was 6 episodes. :uzi:

-Caesars got it's opening date. December 12th. [cheers] (send me that $12 btw, Anth)

-Every time I hear Jump Around now that little doggie video plays in my head. Imagine it will forever.

-The more I think about the UT game, the more irritated I get.

-Annual Smoked Chili weekend? It's about that time.

-Pascal Siakam is a beast man. He could realistically win the MIP in consecutive years. I always enjoy seeing a #2/3 guy blossom when a star leaves.

-RIP Bad Azz, underrated sidekick of the Death Row era.

What exactly is Gary Vaynerchuck famous for, other than screaming and cursing at you to work harder?

He’s the David Goggins of the business world. Not really a fan of either.

His entire back story with the wine biz is really cool, imo. I'd guess he's famous for being a self-made multi-millionaire who cusses a lot.

Way too many factors to consider....partially true statement at best.

Yea that lazy ho jazzy. smh.

While we're all caught up in losing to UT again, and realizing DREAMS and whatnot, it's important to take a deep breath and remember the sacrifices that jazzy, rodney, katina, etc made for BBN. Outside of a national championship, not sure there will be a better feeling that what those hoes gave us. Just pure joy. Tears of laughter. God was really working.

Andy Elkins was my favorite from those Evansville squads. He was a true stretch 4. Dude had a sweet stroke.

Siakam is a really nice kid. His brother is a good friend of mine. People gave me **** when I posted that IF Toronto did not extend his rookie deal, that the Pacers and Magic was just sitting and waiting for the chance to sign him. (before the championship and Leonard left) I was laughing my *** off as people was bashing me saying that he could not sign for more money, etc.. Boris his brother was sitting in my office face timing him, and we was talking about it when I posted it. I have all kinds of autographed Raptors stuff signed by him. Even have a championship shirt. The coolest things I have is the "Humble Hustle" and "Doing it For You" wrist bands he gave me. Sadly, the "Doing It For You" is for his dad that died in a car wreck in Mexico. Boris actually did interviews for all the sports networks during their run.

Randoms:

- Sheesh. Been having a hard time even bringing myself around to post after that one. Still backing this team but done with my fired up football Friday prediction posts this season. Just win.

- Extrav was fun as always, thanks to the Schems for the hospitality.

- Finally met Wodie and Willy in person, great guys. Tommy's buddy also super friendly, dude is one of those people that's just enthusiastic and excited about anything you discuss with him.

- I'm crashing Willy's basement if I'm ever up around that way. Might not even tell him.

- Finally got the lass to an Extrav, and as usual with everywhere we go she finds out she has more connections to people there than me. She was also ripping those pumpkin pie shots. Think she doubled up twice? She felt it Sunday.

- ATLiens is still one of the best front-to-back rap albums of all time. Maybe THE best for my money.

- Drake got booed offstage for not being Frank Ocean as a "secret performer." Are we so old that even Drake isn't "cool" anymore?

- What is up with all of these "secret" shows and performers, anyway?

- Spent the last thirty minutes of mowing and getting up leaves yesterday in the cold rain. I feel about as good today as you'd imagine.

- On a positive note, fell into some floor seats for tonight, so the throat and sinuses are nothing a couple of pre-game Hot Toddies won't fix. Leggo.

- Lass and I tried Agave & Rye for the first time for lunch yesterday. The steak and chicken street tacos were solid, but still give me Papi's.

- MJ once walked two rounds and slammed beers all day with Roenick then went and dropped the hammer on Cleveland that night just to win some GAMBOL back from Jeremy. :joy: https://www.golf.com/news/2019/11/09/michael-jordan-epic-golf-gambling-story/
