***UK vs MSU OFFICIAL GAME THREAD***

[RoyKent]

+9 in FTs is the difference in this game.

Both teams shooting like garbage so far.

[Captain_Kentucky]

Sestina is realizing he’s not playing in the Patriot league anymore. He will adjust

[bbnkat02]

Winston look like a drag queen that just took his wig off after a show

Awww. That’s mean. Lol.

[ukfan041]

Maxey is a scary player

[JesusCal91]

What is so difficult about preaching attack the rim

[Himmels]

Was that Bogans sitting next to Durant?

[kybassfan]

Maybe I’ve mellowed, but i really don’t think we look that bad overall
Intensity and effort are there for sure
Even Nick and EJ are working... a few of those missed shots drop, we would be singing their praises
Just my opinion of course

Lot to like here.

[kywildcat1021979]

Damn Maxey is dribble driving tonight!

[SophiesDad]

Keith over there with KD

[ala_kat2]

Maxes/Quickley our best scorers.

[JesusCal91]

Maxey on both ends has been awesome he's the reason they're winning everyone else follow suit we'll win by 18

[ManitouDan_anon]

MSU certainly cant match our depth .

[Comebakatz3]

Was that Bogans sitting next to Durant?

Looked like it to me

[bbnkat02]

Maxey channeling his inner John Wall.

[Crawfords Corner]

hahaha Loyer wants no part of Hagans or Maxey. He's like a deer in headlights.

[loublue22_rivals308424]

Keith Bogans the Godfather

[Bkocats]

We lead the preseason #1 by 9 just before half... and you've MELLOWED to say we "don't look that bad?" What did you used to be like?

Hmmmmmm
My kids would say I was a real b**** back in the day

Seriously though, I mean I’m just not seeing as much negative as I used to.

[Notorious23]

Serious question. How is Michigan State no 1? They are horrible.........Nawwww, we are just that Good!!

[JwUKFan11]

Was that Bogans sitting next to Durant?

I thought the same thing. Pretty sure it was. Anyone know what that connection is?

[BoulderCat_rivals187983]

My first comment in this thread was about our D looking sharp. I take it back, it was outstanding.

[bbnkat02]

Maxey has been in the court 20 minutes and I’m already bonding.

[KyCatFan1]

I'd love to see us get more looks for Sestina in the second half. Best post scorer we have but afraid he isn't athletic enough for a game like this.

[Crawfords Corner]

Loyer called a scared time out. I dont think Ive ever seen that.

[JesusCal91]

no Langford

[BassProCat]

If EJ and Nick wake up on the post then we would be blowing them out.

Nate needs more touches on the post.

It’s the first game. We will see what Izzo can do in March.

[UKvisitor_rivals101449]

Cats pulling away. Please hold that thought, Cats.

[Crawfords Corner]

Raise your hand if you think that Maxey shot was going in. I sure did.

[bbnkat02]

I thought that was going in.

cal saying great D on the first game first half? Oh Lord. Sign of the apocalypse.

[BassProCat]

16-20 from the line.

Gotta love that.

[RunninRichie]

Really like what I see from nick doesn’t look as lost and looks like he belongs out there

[HenryMuto]

Great defensive 1st half.

[bigbluefattycat]

We won't get a single call in the second half. they will even up the foul shot numbers.

[jameslee32]

Hagans- Hot start. Cold finish.
Nick- Active with length
Sestina- Active with hustle and confidence.
IQ- Too quick for MSU
EJ- Looks like a starter to me
Maxey- Ready to play. Aggressive.
Whitney- Needs more seasoning and to relax some.
Brooks- Active and too aggressive maybe.
Juzang- Relaxed and confident.

[SophiesDad]

I’ll gladly take a 10 point halftime lead

[hotelblue]

maxey could have gotten all the way to basket and had a sandwich first before time expired.

[Saven]

Lol even ESPN is getting concerned with all the fouls

[BassProCat]

Okay Cats...nice 1st half in the 1st game of the season against the #1 team.

[KentuckyStout]

We held Michigan St. to 24 first half points.

We are damned good defensively. The offense will only get better.
