Simmons with the punk move. I don't mind the fighting one on one but jumping in and choking someone from behind should be cracked down on heavy. The NBA should suspend Simmons for that punk move.

No but I don't have to be told something I can see myself but then again I am smarter than the average Philly fan.

Was he choking out KAT? Did KAT tell you that? Btw the NBA refs just put out a statement that Simmons was the peacemaker in the situation which is what I expected. Simmons and KAT are really good friends so choking him out didn't make any sense. My true colors btw? lmfao I'm a Kentucky fan and a Sixers fan. My color is white. I'm a white guy. What is your true color?

Embiid doesn't even rep Kansas like that. Philly is Embiid now and also if Embiid is a "thug" which is a dumb term to use then so is KAT. Don't throw punches and expect hugs in return.
No doubt Embiid is built to rep a place like Philly... and KU. KAT 10 times outta 10 times for me. Embiid is lucky he is big and can play - otherwise he'd just be another loud-mouthed Lavar Ball type. Either way character always eventually reveals itself.

Why do you keep calling him out as "Sixers fan" .. in a tone suggesting you're exposing his secret ...when he's openly acknowledged and discussed it throughout this thread? We already know he is, it's no big deal.

He's not a "troll", he's just a guy who happens to be both a UK fan and a Sixers fan. A person can be more than one thing at the same time, you know.

I'm saying you spend an awful lot of energy trashing a former UK player on a UK board. Spending $10 a month doesn't make you a UK fan, the world is full of weirdos. You even push the negative narratives with nothing to back it up and made the ridiculous claim that KAT is overweight.

KAT was and he lost weight. They even talked about it the other day on KSR lol (I guess i spent time listening to KSR to troll you) they talked about how KAT transformed his body over this summer. Im proud of him and Im happy for his success this season but I am not picking KAT over Embiid especially when I think both were at fault.

With the tone that you're exposing him. GTFOH strawman. You complain about strawman arguments and do the same. How is it a tone that I'm exposing him when he announced that he's a Sixers fan? It is what it is, he's a Sixers fan first clearly and biased for the Sixers to the point that he made up that KAT just started swinging because he was mad that the ball got stolen. Their arms got tangled, one little shove lead to a big shove which lead to them bear hugging eaching other. We all saw what happened, he made up BS because of his Sixers bias.

SIAP, but what I took from this was the need for Andrew Wiggins to be sent packing. Simmons getting involved immediately whatever his intent is what you do for a teammate. Wiggins was right there and didn't do a damn thing. He's wasted his chance to be an iconic player (career wise, not this incident), coasted through with mediocrity his entire career, and with the chance to show he at least gives a damn about anything other then collecting his paycheck, he avoids the incident altogether.

Backstory that some may not know is that one aspect the Wolves organization emphasized this offseason was a "Family"--brotherhood, etc...and did a lot of offseason bonding. Towns and Ryan Saunders were big about this and it's been their selling point to fans locally. The first time you get to prove that isn't just talk....and Towns is jumped from behind and Jeff Teague is only guy who wanted to get involved. Speaks volumes. If I were KAT, would've immediately watched the video and made my decision on where I stand. It would be straight to management to let them know Wiggins can go.

Sure, he was overweight and that's why he was in the Sports Illustrated body issue. More made up BS from a dude with a clear agenda.

I literally said what you said lmfao. I said Embiid hit a shot they came back down the floor and and poked the ball loose from KAT their arms got tangled up Kat swung embiid poked and that was that. Btw im not a sixers fan first. When it comes to pro basketball I'm a sixers fan and I root for kentucky players. When it comes tot which i keep up with the most and what matters most to me its kentucky athletics.

I mean not everyone on the body issue is some mastodon lol regardless Embiid had the same problem and both of them put in the work. I stated that Karl clearly fixed it and proved me wrong in the long run.

I'd try to move him for Chris Paul or John Wall. That's likely the contract they're gonna have to take back to move him. At least Wall and Paul can actually play when healthy.

Well Wiggins sucks and needs to be sent packing regardless lol and I think Karl needs to be around a guy like AD or Kawhi so that he can be the player he is and not worry about other guys or leading. Karl leads by his play.

I usually try not to insult people on this board - so instead of pointing out the obvious - I will explain Im SAYING, not insinuating, that Embiid would be just another loud-mouth common thug if he were not a basketball player. I get it - UK fans generally prefer KAT to Embiid - and you don't. Embiid being a common POS though is pretty common knowledge.

He wasnt fat lol he just needed to lose some weight to improve his game and mobility. I think you thought i was calling him fat and I wasnt. Ive said the same thing about Embiid for a long time. He wouldnt be fully healthy until he lost about 20 lbs and thats what he did.

True, but what they've sold locally is a "re-brand" of the product. Wiggins got everyone excited against a young Heat team without Butler on 2nd end of a back to back after they just went OT to beat Bucks and came back from down 21 to do so. Wiggins hit a lot of 3's and everyone went nuts. Guy was the #1 pick in the NBA Draft and in 6th year and people were excited he hit some shots. That speaks to your point.

Give me examples then. Is it the money he gives to the basketball beyond borders program? Or the time hes spent in the city with younger fans and donating items for christmas drives? Is it the fact that every one of his teammates love him and follow his every word? Is it the time hes spent at the childrens hospital. Explain to me how big of a POS Embiid is lol. Tell me about all of these altercations.

Yea he is also making like 150 mil which is crippling their ability to put a team around Karl that fits to Karls game and personality. Honestly with the whole Jimmy Butler thing I think that was Wiggins fault and not Karls. Wiggins got paid and flaunted his money and they didnt even think about paying Jimmy.

The entire mess the Wolves made was hiring Thibodeau. He was an awful fit for how they needed to be built/coached to maximize what they had. They needed a guy who about tempo/offense and instead they got a guy who wanted to play like the 1990's Knicks, traded away Lavine, passed on adding weapons for Kris Dunn due to defense, then traded him to get Butler who didn't really want to be in Minnesota, then Butler was treated as a Franchise player, he's a great 3rd/4th player on a contender, so roles were messed up. Then all their cap $ was spent on vets who were role players in Western Conference they had no shot to contend.

Lesson to be learned--when other franchises are telling you who to hire when you have a nice young core and need to take a next step, don't listen. Do your own work, but they listened to Thibs friends and those who love to see their friends get jobs/paid and they destroyed what could've been by reverting to what would never work. Now you have Wiggins locked up, 2 crap picks they are selling as great (Okogie and Culver who can't shoot or do anything offensively at an NBA level) and a coach who was hired due to the fact the GM was told he had to hire him (Glen Taylor loves Saunders family). It's a mess as usual in Twin Cities. Wolves are so poorly run it's sickening.

His everyday demeanor on the court... his social media trash talking. ETC.

If I am a priest but I am a child molester, am I still a good guy because I am still a priest? I do good public deeds?

We're not going to agree and I am very cool with that. Not am Embiid fan - never will be. The more he reveals of his actual character (not the PR stuff), the more confirmed I am. He and Simmons both. No thanks. But you enjoy him/them.

You are comparing Embiid to a child predator because he got in a scuffle? lmao wtf is wrong with you dude. Hes a POS because of his "trash talk" lmfaooo? Embiid is a good dude and sitting here making these ignorant references should be beneath you. You really said that Embiid is a POS because of trash talk lol. Then 95% of the NBA p[layers are POS i guess.

No its a big deal man you gotta act as if Embiid was trying to kill Towns. Towns is lucky he made it out of the arena alive. I mean can you believe that Embiid reacted to Towns throwing punches at him? He should have let Towns punch him in the face and just kept playing. I cannot believe anyone would disrespect our kentucky basketball alumni like that.

i just heard that Embiid instigated the fight so....on the news.

BTW,

That Embiid interview was really weird. He does come off super fake. Like that fight is giving him jitters / shakes. "I ain't no *****.... hehehehehehehehehehe" (super comfortable...)

He needs to stop announcing he ain't a *****. All tough guys in the past would never say that. When you have to announce you ain't a *****...you are a *****.

That phrase is a joke thats why he was laughing. Mike Scott said it a year ago in an interview just joking and now its a catch phrase the team uses.
