LMAO some guy thinks I was wrong on McDaniels and Blackshear when I was the first one even before Evan to say he was staying home and then on Blackshear I said it looked good for UK but then I thought he was either going to choose from Tennessee or Florida with Kentucky falling out of what I thought was first place at one time so I haven't been wrong I don't know in many years but here's the thing I have ignored so many of the naysayers that I don't know what some of you are talkin about as far as negativity

Also said McDaniels was coming to Kentucky and Cade would be committed last week.

Could be wrong, but didn't he also say Blackshear was coming?...

who cares if he is wrong at times.......things change
if you don't like what he says, don't read

there used to be many more "insiders" that posted, but they were run off by the critics

I can't tell if this is tongue-in-cheek

I haven't been wrong I don't know in many years

but it hasn't been a year since this:

it is going to be Wednesday and probably on ESPN in the evening but those details are not released yet at any rate you should get your hand cream ready

If anything that eventually doesn't happen can just "change" and that not be "wrong," then what are we even doing discussing stuff ahead of time? Doesn't there have to be some permanence to it? I don't think it makes someone negative to expect things to happen that they've been told will definitely happen.

Jesus, thank you. Someone gets it.

And I like Dave. He's been around for years. I know he knows more than the average poster.

It's even fine to *be* wrong. I doesn't make Dave a fraud. But there can't be any sense of consistency if we don't keep track of that stuff.

exactly this. Can’t take and gloat about all the credit when you’re right and then discount/ignore any instance where you were wrong as just “things change.”

Not sure about 6 signed. Clarke may not be able to sign until later on due to reclassifying-same with Askew. Clarke's even said so himself recently not sure when he'll be able to sign, but looking forward to it.

So, Cunningham, Jackson AND Brown if Clarke can’t sign?

I think I’d faint if that happened.

And would personally push this likeness bill through so we can all play College Hoops 2K21.

I wish Clarke could sign, love to get him locked up so that no one can change his mind by putting crazy ideas in his head

Just ignore the haters . And by that I mean literally put them on ignore . Why even bother responding to them we all know what really went down .

Clarke is in the six I have in mind.....forgot about the idea he may have to wait. Anyway, you know the four committed, and I'm throwing in Cunningham who I strongly believe will be a Cat, and Jackson, who either us or Bama will land. Slight edge to UK some think. Those are the six.

Thx for info. Most of us know recruiting is fluid and things quickly change.

Always appreciate you passing along info you believe to be true at the time.

So we should have seven in the fold by the end of November counting Askew as I strongly suspect he will reclassify this Spring if we need him. That’s a pretty strong seven. Hopefully Cunningham will help us land Brown in the Spring. Those eight and a returning Allen, one more scholarship returnee (Juzang?), and the three walk-ons (Jordan, Canada, Welch) give us our roster for 20-21.

G Cunningham/Askew
G Clarke/Allen/Welch
G Boston/Juzang/Canada
F Brown/Fletcher
F Jackson/Ware/Jordan

And I still don’t buy that Banchero will stay in the ‘21 class. I think he is the secret commit that Boston was talking about and will be here next year.

This is just my guess, I have no inside info.

This is exactly right. I like Dave and have defended him on here, but accountability is part of it. That being said, he’s one of the good guys. Here’s to hoping he’s correct in his prediction.

Some people are forgetting that Askew is a 2021 commit unless he reclassifies. He hasn’t reclassified. If Cal gets Cade Cunningham, that will decrease the possibility that Askew reclassifies. Doesn’t mean he won’t do it, but certainly makes reclassification less attractive from the standpoint of playing time.

I agree and I truly appreciate when he posts info he has, but we have to be honest about how things went just a few days ago..
Keep posting Dave.

I agree with this. Even though a Cunningham commitment decreases the percentages of Askew reclassifying, I still think Askew reclassifies. Percentage would drop from 95% to 75% in my mind.

Same. Love Dave but we did kind of go from “I think we got him” to “get the hand cream ready” to “I strongly think he is coming to UK”

If we get Cunningham, how do you like our chances with Brown? One has to think we’d be in good position since his dad has come out and publicly said that no one develops freshman like Calipari. Couple that with the fact that he would have a chance to play with his buddy Cade, I think we land him (IF Cade commits). Are you hearing anything more concrete as it pertains to Brown? He’s the recruit I want the most.

Here's the thing that separates Dave from a lot of these others. They give one or two bits of information. defend the hell out of it for a day(more like a few hours or occasionally until the announcement is made) and they're gone. Finished. Never to be heard from again. Sure there are some who are proven to be frauds but continue the schtick, but thats the exception.

DK always comes back. I can't remember everyone, but who other than CoachX or whatever his name was can you say that about really. Still, you should take things you hear from 2nd and 3rd parties with a grain of salt. Only the person making the decision truly knows that or their true intentions.

One thing to keep in mind about Cade is that he may commit to UK but put off signing there is that possibility and some are thinking that will indeed be the case

Have you heard anything else about Kuminga and UK?

Also said McDaniels backed out in direct response to getting word of Blackshear’s impending commitment.

You guys do know he's making a prediction... not guaranteed it will happen. if some of you are putting faith in his predictions as you would if say Meyer, Daniels or Bossi had said it.. well that stupidity is all on you ..

This x 100. It's at the point, It's just hard for me to get excited about any of the "info."

15 page thread about Cade's family inviting Cal down--Dave is saying it'll all be done Wednesday. Then it isn't done Wednesday.

I think Dave's a good guy and shares what he hears. But there's a lot of hedging in it all.

If Cade comes in the end great. But I'm not going to be saying Dave knew all along when there's nothing definite in the statements.
If he doesn't come, ok. I'm not going to tell Dave he's an idiot.
