I think the major concern IS for MSU. I don't think anybody's concerned about his long term health, and after MSU we have a soft schedule for a while for him to recover, but our first game is against the #1 team in the country and we lost a guy who plays at our least deep position.

Of coarse but its just 1 game and it is the first game AND MSU is going to be without their 2 best SG most likely as well so EVEN if Richards misses that game so be it obviously it would be much better to have him but that is sports . MSU at their best couldn't dream of doing what Duke did to us last year so with or without richards for the 1 game we can survive. I just thank God it was ankle and not a knee or even a foot injury . Those are a much different animal .
I was the king of sprained ankles. I would be utterly shocked if he misses the game off of that sprain. At 40 that sprained would keep me out for a week and probably half that time if I was able to get trainers to tape it up. I’d be shocked if he missed more than three days of practice
I dunno. We probably could have used him for more than 1 point.
