Option G: Grad transfer.
I would LOVE an experienced point guard coming in to run the show.
Not sure we'd find anyone better or more seasoned in the grad transfer realm than a junior-to-be Immanuel Quickley.
Who Askew man? :joy:UC is out. toss up between ul and UK. we should know fairly soon and oh I'm talking about askew.
While I think IQ will be back.. It's not automatic. If Hagans still struggles with offense (which we've heard could still be the case) then the push for IQ will be strong. If he happened to get quality minutes at the point, he could be gone.
I really really want Askew. Unless he signs with U6. In that case we didn't want him anyway.
Family/handlers and the money they get. Sadly.CC to OK-State would be as lame as it gets.
I don't get how some of these elites just don't give a crap about winning at a high level, even if it's only for a year on the college level.
That’s the question I ask but I’ve seen crazier things happenUL still has an axe over their head for the Adidas stuff, why would any recruit even consider going there?
Well you would think they wouldn't , but they did help UNCheat till they figured a way out of twenty years of fraud too !If he commits to U6, that's just chapter 1.
Chapter 2 could well be between now and next year when U6 gets banned by the NCAA from post-season play for a year or two.
Chapter 3 is when Cal, who has stayed positive with the kid, plucks him from the wreckage.
Everyone forgetting that U6 fired their coach and athletic director after being caught in a scheme to pay a player to sign? Even the lame NCAA can't just let that go away.
This ones done for Louisville as of now.
True but he did a helluva job guarding Waters from LSU last year in Rupp. You mean the Quickley that couldn't crack the starting lineup last year, and won't this year? I like Quickley but I don't see some people's fascination with him at point guard. He's nowhere close to being as good at PG as Cunningham, Askew or even Christopher. He's more of a 2. He doesn't have the speed or quickness to beat good guards off the dribble.
Here I will fix it for you . He’s going to Louisville imo and also been told that . Enjoy"Done for Louisville as of now." That's the way to be bold. But that was a few minutes ago, so things might have changed.

Quickley is not a pg in my thinking either. But if he gets consistent on making shots and driving and scoring. He gone lol. He showed glimpses of this. Here there. But pg naw. He aint got horrible defense either. Its manageable to get much better.
You've been told hat but only felt compelled to share it with us after Askew's declaration today?
Yea because he hasn’t even visited Kentucky . No one knew a commitment was coming soon. Grow up. This is a message board and you act like a little kid. You've been told hat but only felt compelled to share it with us after Askew's declaration today?

I ain't saying he can't play some point here and there but I don't think that should be his natural position. I do believe he will (maybe this season) become an outstanding SG. He's a very good shooter and defender. I love Quickley's game just hope we get a really good PG for 2020.Quickley was a freshman last year. Is it a leap to assume he'll be a significantly better player as a junior than he was as a freshman? I don't think so.
As for him not being as good as CC or Askew, that's a truism. Those guys are the best point guards in their class and project as future lottery picks. Can't say I agree about Christopher, however. No one really has any clue if Josh's game translates to lead guard at this point.
Tru and very well could lead to quick doing it at uk. But hasnt yet. But im huge quick fan. Reminds me of collegiate version of ron artest in the nba, kinda. Not ron artest college. Just ball attributes, 1 being defense. Fisher or artest who the tru pg? Sure artest can somewhat but not truly. Thats were im at with quick.I'm enjoying how many of us made mental room for off-the-ball career scorers like Green or Christopher running the point guard position next year but not a junior-level version of IQ, who has mostly played point guard at the highest levels over his high school and college careers.
Cal aint spending useless recruiting time on cade. Just for the heck of it. There is definetly pressure here. Now we got this askew commitment announcement. And that might very well mean askew to UL
If quick did what he does best. We win ncaa crown. Just rewatch auburn game lol
Ya i agree with you as well. Just wording we get mixed up lol. If quick was just artest size. We win that sucker last year. Ya quick as jr pg. Is np here with me. We need that backup. And 1 that swing to it from pg. Thats quickley to me. Versatile, just not there yet. There's no doubt he's a better player now. Most 5 star guys improve the longer they stay in a program with elite coaches. I'm more than okay with the idea of a junior IQ running the show at Kentucky. As you noted, his defensive ceiling is elite, and he'll learn to make better lead-guard decisions as his Kentucky career continues to evolve.
