He shot 35% for a 9 game stretch last season ( when he was playing his best ball ) so he can do it . I think for the season he will be around 34 ish % but have a few games where he is 3-4 . We really dont have any bad shooters on this team. He have some only decent ones like Whitney but there is no Briscoe on this team. Allen , Juzang Maxey and Sestina are elite shooters ( guys who will shoot at 40 % or better for their careers in basketball or damn close to it . Everyone else is at least decent.

What % Hagans shoots from three is pretty insignificant for this team. If he shoots two 3s per game, that would be a 50% increase. At that rate the difference between shooting 30% and 35% is one made 3 over the course of ten games, or four made 3s over the course of a 40 game season.

I see several posters in this thread attempting to predict the 3-point percentages for our players for next season, but no one seems to be factoring in the effect of moving the 3-point line distance back to 22 feet 1 3/4 inches effective for the 2019-20 season in NCAA Division 1 basketball.

This will probably lower the team 3-point percentages 1 or 2 percentage points for the 2019-20 season. This will force the defense to cover more of the court and help make the lane more available for dribble/drive plays from the perimeter.

Hope you are right. That will help us on offense. Our guys have to make some, though, or it won't matter, teams will just zone us to death.

He needs to hit those wide open jump shots at a good clip to keep the defense honest. I hope his jumper has improved a lot.
