Pretty good to make kids Top 5 when you haven't even offered him. Hell, Green was irritated with UK just for not offering him first in the 2020 class LOL. Got to feel like this kid wants to come to UK. The question is does Cal want another PG that can't shoot. Although he is an amazing passer and highly ranked. I would think if we offer he takes it. UCLA is in rebuild mode with another coach, little troll. He said he likes how Uk has told him he has to work on his jump shot amount a few other things. Sounds like he wants to go to a school that can make him his best not one that just tells him he already is the best. The only thing that seems weird is that he wants to make a decision very soon and has yet to visit or receive an offer. Not sure why he would want it so bad just to ick UCLA in a couple of weeks.

He seems pretty Briscoe-ish to me, and I question whether he's as skilled as Briscoe was (because minus the shooting, Briscoe did bring a lot to the table). I also question whether he could be a freshman starting point guard on a top 10 team.
I mean he is the #2 ranked PG for a reason. They say he is the best passer in a long time. Jason Kidd like. At least that's what the so-called experts are saying. Seems like his shooting might be making Cal hesitant though. One thing you know for sure is no funny business with money more than likely since they wanted him n the AAU circuit but he said only if you take my whole team which they said no and then made him play shooting forward at USA BB instead of PG which is what he really is. I think that was a bit of an F U from Nike to him since they are really involved with it.

I was thinking Briscoe as well when I saw him. I don't think I want another non-shooting point guard on our team.
I do wish Cal could have his own thread here and tell us stuff about how he’s doing this. I get so confuesed sometime about all of these players and cal always flies on airplane to see them all over the world so I don’t know why he’s doing it and want to know. I wonder if Cal would ever post here and tell us. I would stay up late and have popcorn for that thread I bet you guys would To.
Color me cynical but 5 stars including UK on their ' final list' is a resume building exercise until they announce.
LOL read this thread before I read the nix to UCLA thread. Makes sense we didn't want him as the pg we want Christopher .
I was never fired up about this kid. Looked a bit slow and not very explosive. Passing looked great but his jump shot was ugly. Cal didn't offer him for a reason.
Excellent points overall, I read that he wanted to make a decision before his senior year Seans (IE early signing period) so he could just focus on his game and season. I think it comes down to UCLA, Kansas, and us. Go Cats!
