There's such thing as a dirty player and a real coach would have set a kid right after it happened multiple times and maybe even dismissed him from the team or handed out a decent punishment. Coach K is a true piece of **** and we have seen it time and time again. The talking down to the Oregon player who beat the shot clock with a long *** 3 was just another example of this guy and who he really is. He's a watered-down version of Bobby Knight living in his own world and making excuses for his players instead of fixing them.
Gracie sucks and will be working at a car lot in a few years. I hope he plays that **** with a real man in the league and they choke him out. That's what he deserves at this point for putting player livelihood in jeopardy.

Sure, @UKGrad93 lost his beautiful daughter recently her name was Sarah @funKYcat75 came up with an awesome idea for us to use this in our avatars to support him and his family. Please keep them in your prayers. I can’t imagine losing a child so young and so sudden like he did. It still breaks my heart thinking about it

If we're being honest, wouldn't we expect all coaches to defend and keep private, the conversations they have with their players? Would anyone expect Calipari to open up about one of his players? We would all expect him to defend the player.

I agree. I do not want Coach Cal to talk about private conversations. If it is Coach Cal or Coach K it is always about moving forward and recruiting. If they throw one of these old players under the bus (especially the ones who won a National Championship) the future players will not come to your program. It is always about the long game and recruiting. Cal gets it and will continue to for the next decade in Lexington.
Can't really agree. Cal lacks an appreciation for the history of this program. I miss Tubby's reverence. Cal cares about himself, first, his players, second, and this program, last.
Cal has 5 30 win seasons, 4 Final Fours and 8 trips to the Sweet 16... it is obvious he cares about the program and is only getting started. The next decade will be better than the last!

You clearly have not been alive long enough to know that UK Hoops Greatness predated "Cal the Great." In fact, SEVEN of our eight championships were won by teams led by coach other than John Calipari. When you are the gold standard in college hoops, 1 championship in 10 years is actually quite pathetic.
What has Cal done? Created a culture whereby a player would rather play overseas in New Zealand than play a second year at Kentucky because he's conditioned to believe he "failed" because he wasn't an NBA lottery pick after a year. Need more evidence? Look at Cal's favorite quote: "the best night" in the history of the program was the night of the NBA draft.
But keep buying into the media brainwashing you that Cal puts program first!

1. Cal would not have a player that intentionally tripped other players (3x)
2. But, for arguments sake... Cal would call the player out, 100% (he has done that many, many times); but then tell Dan, it is being handled internally and don't expect it to happen again.
