But yet you have still read and replied to everyone? No man they’re just lame and cringe. In other words it makes me not want to read your post as it hints toward your personality and intelligence.

Basic logic?
[laughing] Logics courses go a long way. You can learn about linear thought and stuff.
Just insert those cringe gifs it suits you better.
Lol, sure, ok......A red X. Now your cringy gif game needs work. Don’t get dumber.
Yeeea, okay man. You be good. Work on things.
netted? What is BBB's overhead?According to a report from Nicekicks.com, Big Baller Brand's $495 signature "ZO2 Prime" sneaker sold approximately 263 units on the first day of availability. Yes, people actually bought them. The report also says some people even bought the $995 special edition "ZO2 Primes" signed by Lonzo, who has yet to score a point in the NBA.
Good for those people.
But you've got to give LaVar some credit because even though the price is absurd and he's absurd, the 263 pairs sold still netted $156,000 for Big Baller Brand.
The marketing scheme was to go on TV and say outlandish, borderline offensive stuff to create buzz and attention. That is usually pretty cheap and effective for a period of time.
you forgot a lot "IFs" and "MAYBEs", Mrs. Ball...No doubt, he took a risk and for his family it worked out to a degree. For him personally, he took a loss. But he still can improve that. Sign a lower, shorter deal endorsement deal now. Have a couple big seasons, make a couple all-star teams and the amounts likely get higher than the initial offers were back then.
WTF?
Do you know for certain? Do you have proof? They are a private company you know?WTF?
Now you are just being stupid, to be stupid...
What ifs and maybe?. It's a pretty straightforward thing. Lonzo was a high level talent who has shown flashes. He dealt with some injury stuff and then ended up behind Lebron and Rondo. He has not yet played to his abilities on a consistent basis, but now he gets a fresh start. Play better, get more consistent and shoe/apparel companies will take notice.you forgot a lot "IFs" and "MAYBEs", Mrs. Ball...

Well, except for the shoe companies have already taken notice and offered.So...if he starts playing to his abilities on a consistent basis, he'll maybe be able to make the best of his fresh start. If he plays better, if he gets more consistent, then shoe/apparel companies will maybe take notice.
Like you said, pretty straightforward.![]()

FIFY, a touch more...So...if he starts playing to his potential abilities that have not be seen, on a consistent basis, he'll maybe be able to make the best of his fresh start. If, just like any player; he plays better, and if he gets a considerably more consistent jump shot, and gets a personality that fans will relate to, then shoe/apparel companies will maybe take notice.

Well I wear an 8 1/2-9, I could probably squeeze in. My footwear of choice for at least 20 years though has been lightweight, waterproof, low top hiking shoes. The only “sneakers” I’ve bought in that time have been at Walmart for $15. I use them to mow the grass. Made in China I’m sure, like Nike’s. I marvel at what some pay these days sneakers these days.![]()

That was just the first few hours of the initial launch. They made quite a bit more over time. They did little to no actual advertising. They plugged everything during LaVar's countless media appearances and via social media. They paid to someome to manage their site.It didn't "net" them $156K. It grossed them $156 K. Who knows what start up costs they had, plus their manufacturing and marketing costs. They probably didn't make much, if anything. If they did make a little, it most certainly was a far cry from what Lonzo could have made from a legitimate shoe company.
In the end they were able to make a few hundred grand and the brand did not work out. I highly doubt they expected it to
Lol, yea....sure......Bluebrew create a new account today just for likes. That’s hilarious. [laughing]
Ok, “Mr. Blake Monroe”
Going out of business doesn't indicate they weren't profitable at a point.https://www.complex.com/sneakers/2019/04/whats-the-future-of-big-baller-brand
Dude....BBB is going out of business....Lonzo is gone. If they were actually turning a profit that would not be happening.
You keep saying they didnt expect it to be successful or last....that is makes it even dumber.
To pretend like BBB has been anything other than a complete train-wreck is laughable.
Tasted a little stardom and COMPLETELY burned out. Couldn’t have played his cards much worse. He had an opportunity, thanks to his sons, to make something so much bigger / better than the rickety shack he built.
Marketing genius LOL :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:
Going out of business doesn't indicate they weren't profitable at a point.
They made several hundred thousand at least, quite possible into the low millions. If it would have worked out they could have made a lot more. It was a risk, but coming out with a few hundred grand for little work doesn't seem to bad to me. I would like to be invovled in a trainwreck like that.
Not to mention he is still in line to get a good deal from Nike that could grow larger in the future. The youngest brother will probably get a nice deal as well if he's drafted as currently projected.
Or you could be underestimating them.........Sounds like you’re over estimating them quite a bit.
Or you could be underestimating them.........
Ohh, unfortunately I don't have 6 figures+ I earned on a apparel adventure to spend on stock, unlike the Ball family. Do you? Some good advice, don’t buy their stock.![]()

I have saved all my life and do invest but I wouldn’t give that group $10 much less $100000.
I will agree the shoes were atrocious. I have seen better styles at Goodwill for $1. However, if LaVar can convince people to pay $395 and $495 for them, more power to him. They were in the red before the first damn shoe was produced.
Props to trying something different but he is crap, his sons bbball game are average, and the brand is crap.
don't try to talk any sense (cents) to this guy...he is obviously either being obtuse as possible or related to the BallsIt didn't "net" them $156K. It grossed them $156 K. no, you've backed yourself into a corner and acting like a entitled spoiled brat.
Lol, that was all they made on the first day of sales. Please slow down and try reading and comprehending at the same time. They sold 293 pairs of the initial Lonzo Z02 Prime Shoes for $495 a pair. That was within the first couple of hours after going on sale. They then launched the $395 Lamelo shoes.no, you've backed yourself into a corner and acting like a entitled spoiled brat.
and are trying anything to keep going
from my above post:
Example:
you think the Ball family had six figures to spend, but you say they only made 156K
