It's a facebook group called Kentucky basketball recruiting report.
Darrell is the admin. Since all the pro-UK stuff has taken off, several people are posting in the group claiming to have inside info. Someone shared a screen shot of a text message saying Blackshear to UK is a done deal--may happen today or later. No idea who the text is from. No reason to believe it's not my 2 year old nephew sending the text. But they want you to believe it's from their inside source.
It's another "All the internet is saying Kentucky, so i'll now pretend to know" situation.
Darrell has posted videos saying it's his group and if you don't like it you can leave it, he threatens to ban people that question the "insiders." It's a trash group. Someone posted about it a few days ago and I joined to see what's going on.
Yeah, sounds legit. Reminds me of the McDaniels fiasco. I still think Blackshear lands at UK, but I’d imagine most of these “insiders” know nothing.
Would make sense from a Calipari PR level as well. He can talk about Blackshear tomorrow night when he's interviewed and start hyping the young man for next year's draft.

Too much smoke to not be fire. If Cal lands KB, UK is the unquestionable #1 team in the country IMO. Seems like Cal is hungry for that second title. Everything sure seems to be lining up perfectly. Something special brewing for this upcoming season. This is the most optimistic I've been regarding UK Basketball in a long time.

KB,of course, is a huge get if it happens. Still wondering who can make outside shots other than KB and maybe Sestina. Huge opportunity for IQ to step up and be that guy.

Hagans, Juzang and Quickley all can hit outside shots. Should be better shooting team than last year.
Don't see Cal leaving if he got good news. Would stick around unless KB and his family left as well. Hope you’re correct!

I keep reading Hagans can shoot. I really hope so but I think the line is further back too this season. It doesn't bode well but who knows. He does have other parts of his game where he excels....
