Caleb Cunningham dreamed of being a basketball star growing up. But it was his mother, Bettie Cunningham, who suggested he give football a try when he was 7-years-old. "That sure worked out," Cunnigham's mom. She's right. Cunningham made an impact right away during his first two seasons of high school football with 1,012 yards and six touchdowns. He was also a state qualifier in track in the long jump and triple jump, plus Cunningham averaged 20 points during his sophomore season in basketball. “When I was little, I was like, ‘I’m going to be a five-star one day.’ I always prayed about it,” Cunningham told WCBI. "My prayers have come true."
