FIFY
Man I don't see this one ending on a happy note whichever way it falls...a lot of people either want her prosecuted or think she can do no wrong. This one could cut either way. Immunity is a tool prosecutors use when they want to go after a bigger fish. It's also a tool politicians use when they want to bury a case. Who knows which this is right now?
I don't know who those people are. I would think that most Democrats who would vote for her would be holding their nose.or think she can do no wrong.
Pfffffft.I don't know who those people are. I would think that most Democrats who would vote for her would be holding their nose.
Apparently you know who those people are, good deal.Pfffffft.

What do you mean, hmmm? Surely you are not insinuating they are conspiring to let everyone off? Surely you are intelligent enough to realize this is a very common practice of prosecutors to get someone to talk and cooperate with an ongoing investigation? (Not to defend or conspire against the investigative target, just open up flow of information/evidence).
Expect the slough-off in May/June, according to what I read this morning. FBI will be done then, and DOJ will bury it.
Considering that Pagliano already invoked the Fifth Amendment, I see this as a deal with investigators/prosecutors to get him to answer questions he wouldn't answer before. Now if he tries to refuse to answer he can be held in contempt. All of the defenses put forth in this case are weak, from Pagliano's claim that he was "just following instructions" to Hillary's feeble "it wasn't marked classified."This one could cut either way. I thought she would have at least hired an outside firm specializing in running Exchange servers. It appears she hand picked some staffer? That's even worse IMO.
Hmmmmm as in Hillary's camp has been adamant that this is just a routine security review and not a criminal investigation. What do you mean, hmmm? He wasn't just some strap hanger with no experience -- he is an IT specialist and he installed the mail server for her 2008 presidential campaign. She just kept using it after becoming secretary of state. Anyway, the real issue isn't use of the server, the real issues are lack of any system for ensuring that her e-mails were made part of the public record, and the biggie of sending and receiving classified information on that server. The latter is what the FBI and all the intelligence agencies are looking at -- as quoted in the article, “There was wrongdoing,” said a former senior law enforcement official. “But was it criminal wrongdoing?”I thought she would have at least hired an outside firm specializing in running Exchange servers. It appears she hand picked some staffer? That's even worse IMO.
