White has been fantastic this season. Picc has been great outside of some narrow losses to a few of the top of his class. He also has a win over Cruz.

Outside of that it has been a little up and down which isn't unique for a John's Smith team at this point in the season.

White has been a pleasant surprise. If you would have told me when the season started that Pic would be ranked #11 on Jan 20 I would have be dissapppinted. I haven’t seen much if any improvement from the end of last year to now from Pic. I expected a stronger wrestler who figured out to some extent his struggles on the bottom against the larger 125 pounders. Still hoping to see that.

I think he shown some improvement in his finishing of shots and better work on both bottom and especially top. I would agree he has slowed after his very fast start and have a bit disappointed with his mid season "slump." He is 7th on Flo currently and 8th on the NCAA coaches panel.

Apparently he has some injury. On the broadcast they mentioned he was on crutches. I believe it's an ankle injury, don't remember for sure what they said.... He's supposedly out on Sunday as well.

Yes, Blalock. Consistently holds his own against the ranked guys and destroys the rest. Hes going to wrestle all 7 minutes. I appreciate that he is not going to let you down.

Read an article that Chandler is expected back by next weekend, but the staff will continue to evaluate him during the week.

Nice bounce back by Boo in his Gallagher debut.

Also thought Picc, Jonce, Preston, and Derek looked good again last night. I think those 4 have shown clear improvement since last season, regardless of rankings. Some of the other guys seem to be up and down from match to match.

While not good, this was the best WVU team that has taken the mat against us in the past 5-6 years. Henson is making improvements in this program.
