This was expected by most analysts I followed. But it still stings because we really needed him and we were in the mix.
I really hope our young offensive line talent rises to the challenge next year. Because it seems our coaches are content with what we have.
I remain unconvinced. We have been very average on the offensive line for years now and nothing about our current roster screams out “expect a jump in performance next year!”
We need help from the portal in my opinion. But there are few players worth a damn left.

Any player on any team that has yet to finish the season still has a chance to hit the portal 5 days after they finish the season, so there is still a chance for new prospects to become available.. still have spring portal period as well if need be
Neither his OL coach is at Wake forest. He would have started at Mich or Nebraska.
I wonder what the chatter is like behind the scenes? Agents paying attention to which teams are trying hard for certain positions and then trying to do matchmaking with players that haven’t gone into the portal yet, but still could with enough incentiveand then setting market value.
