All expense paid trip to see the men play in the NIT semifinals and finals or

All expense paid tip to Kansas City and Columbus to watch the women play in their final four games?

If you say you'd rather go see the women, I don't believe you.

Bonus:

Would you rather see the women win the national championship or unexpectedly find $20 in your coat pocket?

NIT just because it’s in NYC. If the women’s final 4 was in a different location I might say different.

Kansas City hands down. Was in NYC recently and don't at all feel the need to go back so soon, also would like to see a chance of winning something real. Even if you win the NIT it's not really a real thing. Good practice for next year though!

Edit to add, no Noreaster blowing snow like crazy in KC either... so there is that.

I will be very disappointed in myself if I am not in attendance whenever (and wherever) MSU wins it's first NCAA championship.

Is this for real? Why wouldn't any of us be thrilled to see the women win?

I will be happy if they win. But, I'd sacrifice losing every game in every women's game for 10 years for one men's Final Four appearance.

As the father of a daughter I just want to say that you really, really suck. These women work their *** off and have earned everything they are getting, you and your buddy Fishwater's need to try and **** on that is pretty damn pathetic.

We already had a men's final four appearance with zero sacrifices by the women.

Maybe you wouldn't go as far as I would, but I bet you would trade a loss tomorrow night for a football win in Bryant Denny.

No matter how much they try to shove it down our throats, women's sports really don't matter. They have done more to damage society than most people realize.

NY > KC, so boys. But if I had the chance to be present for the men's NIT championship or the women's NC, I'd choose women's.

Bonus: I would pay $20 for a women's national championship. I'd pay $100 for it. I'd rather find $250 in my pocket than the women win the national championship though. But I'm cheap.

If I got the free trip to Kansas City, I would probably rent a car and go watch the baseball team. I pull for women’s basketball, but I care much, much more about baseball, men’s basketball, and football

I wouldn't... We don't get many teams capable of winning a national championship and this one can.

No, they can't. If they make it to UConn they will lose by 25. It will be embarrassing how bad they lose.

Ditto. I've got nothing against the women's team or the fans who support them, but I have never enjoyed watching women's basketball. And I'm not going to become the ultimate fair weather fan and start following the team just because they have a shot at a championship.

Now, if the women were to win MSU's first ever team championship, I do want to witness it. Not live, though, TV is fine.

Nope. Wouldnt even think hard about it. Wouldn’t make that trade at all. And I loathe Alabama with the passion of a thousand suns.

Being truly elite in something is special and rare. I’m glad most in our fanbase realize that.

This. This women’s basketball team has the potential to win a national championship, and I wouldn’t trade a single football win for a national championship opportunity in any sport. Now, if you guaranteed the win at Alabama in football would mean we play for a national championship, it’s a different story.

Also, I love NYC as a city and I hate KC as a city, but if I have a chance to go see my alma matre play for a national championship, I’m taking that opportunity every time, regardless of location.

Dawgzilla actually put my thoughts into perfect words.

Good for the girls, but I have no interest driving to see them play even if the tickets were free. I’m not going to pay triple digits to watch women’s basketball.

I follow them on Twitter and all this goofing around makes me believe they won’t make it out of Kansas City. You are on a business trip. Act like it.

Beating Bama in Bryant Denny isn't unprecedented ... Croom's team did it, and I think Saban was coaching them at the time. Winning a national championship in anything at MSU is unprecedented.

I'd choose the women all day long. To see State win our first team national championship would be awesome.

Like I said on twitter - I never thought I would have become this much of a women's basketball fan but they are fun to watch.

Well there is an advertisement for the University of Southern Mississippi at the bottom of this page, so if I have to read that on a State message board, I have no problem choosing the women over the men. So... I got that going for me.

Depth is overrated. With all the timeouts and days off, it's better to be good than deep, foul trouble notwithstanding. And we're MUCH better than we were last year. We have 5 players that can score 20 points. Last year we had 2.

I live in Starkville 90% of the time and don't go see the men play, and have no desire to go to NYC for anything. I've seen the women play about a dozen times this year so I'm going w/ KC

Depth is overrated.
In our last game vs. Okie St., only 9 players scored and the subs for both teams totaled not much more than 20 minutes. So yeah, depth is overrated. But if a MSU-UConn game did get decided by which team has more depth, that's advantage to Mississippi State.
